Roland Foods Canned Premium Hearts of Palm, 14 Ounce Can, Pack of 4

I eat a lot of salads, for which the Roland hearts of palm are a standard ingredient and there is no comparison as to other brands that offer hearts of palm. Roland's packing captures the taste of product, and I have never had a bad experience. I need to look for other Roland products.

Cans very dented and unusable. Too much money to spend on something that’s unusable and unreturnable. Not worth it. Extremely disappointed.

My husband and I really these Hearts of Palm. These are delicious. I slice them on the diagonal and put them in salads I use half a can for a salad for two. I put the other half in a lidded food storage container along with the brine in the refrigerator for the next salad.They come from Columbia; that's pretty cool.These come in a four pack of cans. One can had a big dent on the side. Another has a very minor dent. The other two cans are fine.The can are really nice too! I used the heavily dented can right away. There is a pull tab on the top of the can and the inside of the can has a very clean looking white lining.Hearts of Palm are hard to find in my local grocery store and when I do find them the price per can is pretty high.Happy to fine them on Amazon.

The quality of the hearts were very good. Very little soft mushy hearts. Just like we like them. Will order more in the future.

I first started buying these 4 packs from Amazon due to better pricing compared to individual cans at my local grocery store in PA. Both were the Roland brand so I figured this was a safe switch. At first, I loved these! The price was cheaper the quality of the palm was the same as from the grocery store (only difference were the consistently dented cans from the shipping). I even went so far to add these to my monthly Subscribe and Save list because I was eating them so much and I wanted the extra discount. After about month 3 I notice that some of the monthly deliveries were not of the same quality. Some of the palm in the cans was very mushy, some very sour. I still get some good ones too but the inconsistency of the product was a turn off for me, especially with a fairly high price point for canned vegetables even with the Amazon price and Subscribe & Save discount. I give this an average rating and something that I no longer include in my monthly Amazon subscription.

Put in my salad, they arrived hard, stringy & flavorless. Won't buy this brand again.
