I’m a sucker for their sardines and wanted to try something different.Honestly, I wish I liked these more.Maybe it’s the fish but I found it a bit dry and lacking in flavor.The quality is good and so is the packaging.If you’re familiar with herring and know what to expect, maybe you would enjoy them more.I will continue to purchase their sardines a few packs at a time since my husband and I run through them super quickly.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find these to be very very good! The grocery store near me stopped carrying kipper snacks, apparently they are not very popular. I looked online and saw these which sounded interesting since they were "peppered" ordered a 6 pack of them and have zero regrets! they are not overly peppery or overly smokey , they are just right. I liked that the meat is flakey and the outer edge is nicely browed form smoking and a little dryer so it lends a very good texture. I have been eating kipper snacks my whole life and always enjoyed them but this was a whole new level. I will for sure be ordering again, this is now my favorite brand for these!

I love kipper snacks and have tried several varieties. These are good, but the sodium numbers aren't different from other brands that don't claim "no added salt" and indeed show salt on the ingredients. I'm guessing the "smoking" process somehow includes salt? 300 mg / serving is good but not "low."These are product of Latvia.
