Recording Electronic Drums Silently
I use these to record my electronic drums. They work perfectly. They transmit the information to my music mixing software --- enabling me to record drums without making any noise in an apartment situation. They work perfectly, and were a great deal too. I got one for input to the e-drums, and one for the output from the e-drums. This way, I can control the sounds played on the e-drums, and/or translate sounds back from the electronic drums in my digital audio workstation software in a recording studio situation. These allow complete MIDI signals for me in my studio situation.

They work in a pinch
If you need to use a midi controller or a rackmount synthesizer, it will work. I don’t know if I would want to use these cables for a gig but it’s definitely a good back up and if you’re not gonna move them around too much, they’ll be fine and the price is right

They're moldedcables that work!
They work. Why pay more for a MIDI cable? In working with MIDI cables for over 35 years, I've never had to repair one, even though in the good ole days I only purchased cables that had metal ends that unscrewed to allow access to the solder points on the plugs. Why waste money for a nice feature you will never use.

Plain MIDI cable, fairly flexible, with good quality connectors
It is not a heavy duty cable. It is meant for indoor operation where it'll do it's job on the spot.
