This WÜSTHOF Gourmet 4.75" Cheese Plane is excellent. It smoothly cuts layers of cheese with every slice. The slices are perfect for each serving. Would purchase again.

This is a great tool. The handle is strong enough to use with hardest cheese.

Gifted to my son for Christmas - He and his family has used a cheese plane for years and has a few in his kitchen drawer. He says the handles come off his old ones, so I looked for a cheese plane with a riveted handle. He says he doesn't use use the new, expensive WÜSTHOF Gourmet 4.75" Cheese Plane because it DOESN'T CUT THE CHEESE. The old cheap ones work better!!!!

I spent the extra money on this item after I read a review from “America’s Test Kitchen”. I was not satisfied with my previous cheese plane as it tore a big chunk at the end of every pass. I’m very happy with the quality of this little kitchen gadget.

Could not find country of origin on website. Bought on faith in Wustof. Box says CHINA
