Awesome food
PROS:1. TASTE: I wasn’t sure if my guppies were going to like the food right away, but they went crazy for it!2. INGREDIENTS : I’ve never seen a fish food that has such quality ingredients. Even the brands that are recommended the most, like Hikari, have an ingredient list that is garbage.3. DOESN’T DISSOLVE : I REALLY love that the granules hold their shape and don’t melt away in the water- when I was feeding the typical flake food, as I would crumple the flakes to make smaller pieces for my guppy’s tiny mouths, there would always be a good portion that ended up as super small powder/dust like pieces and were too fine to be eaten. It would end up coating the floor and dirtying the tank quickly. But these granules stay together even after being in the water for a significant time- they don’t dissolve into muck that I need to clean out.5. SIZE: The granules are also the perfect size for my tiny guppy mouths! Even some of the babies that were a week or two old were able to eat the granulesCONS: There were only two minor things that weren’t perfect about the food..1. The design of the inner part of the cap (the part that has the holes that the food comes through) isn’t the easiest to deal with. All the holes are closed- I had to use scissors to poke them open. I thought it would be like a spice jar- where you twist and you can do small holes or change to larger hole. That’s how it looked initially, but after opening, I realized there’s no “twist” mechanism. It’s just a stable cap with holes that you punch yourself. Not a huge deal, but I wanted to mention it.2. The granules sink fairly quickly. The bottle says “floating type” but when you shake the food out, about 1/3 sinks IMMEDIATELY. The remaining 2/3 floats temporarily, but after mere SECONDS, pieces start sinking. I did a test by shaking some into a water glass, so I could see how long it took all the granules to sink (without fish interference) and 90% had sunk by the 30 second mark. BUT, since the granules stay whole and don’t melt away, it’s really easy for the fish to spot them on the floor and eat them up quickly, so the sinking issue doesn’t upset me too much.Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this food, and will DEFINITELY continue to purchase. Switching from flake food to Royal Guppy has made my tank cleaner, and judging from the ingredient list, I’m sure my fish are much healthier too :)If you’re not sure about it, just give it a try! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised

Great food for guppies.
The guppies approve! They already are looking brighter on their coloring after a few days. Will be sticking with this brand of food! I think it's still a bit too big for the fry, but I can break up the little beads a bit with my fingers. Only too big for the fry that are 4 days or less.

This food is amazing.
This is going to be my new regular food for my guppies. Literally no waste. They eat all of it way before it sinks to the bottom. It's got the consistency of a medium course sand, so the holes in the lid work great to keep you from putting out too much. I had to use a toothpick to open up the rest of the holes though. When you first open it, only one of the many are open. The food mostly floats. I'd say 10% of it sinks immediately, but the fish eat it all from the top so fast it doesn't have time to sink, and the 10% that does sink, gets eaten up pretty fast too, so no real waste unlike regular flake food. The pieces are small enough that even the baby guppies have no trouble eating it. I however have baby guppie food that is the same brand but it's more like a powder. Still great for the babies too. This type and brand of food is by far the best that I have tried. At the price point, you can't go wrong. Beware that when you pull the tab to open it the first time, it will break. I used as sharp knife to separate it enough to open it though, so no big deal. Just an FYI for the company if they ever ask.

Pricy but my guppies love it
The guppies don’t just eat this food—they devour it like it’s a five-star buffet. These tiny granules pack a punch with high-quality ingredients like sword prawns, spirulina, and seaweed. It’s like serving up a superfood smoothie for the guppy crew.Unlike the crumbly flake food that dissolves into tank-dirtying dust, these pellets hold their shape beautifully, keeping the tank cleaner and reducing maintenance time. The size of the granules is spot on—even the tiniest guppy mouths can enjoy them. Watching baby guppies nibble away is a wholesome bonus. The vibrant colors popping from the guppies’ scales after regular feeding are proof this food isn’t just tasty—it’s transformative. While the price tag is a bit of a splurge, the quality, tank cleanliness, and happy fish make it a worthy investment for any guppy lover.

Wunderbar
Not only do my gupgups go absolutely bonkers for this stuff, but I have legitimately seen a difference in color after using this product. My yellow lace male now has a brilliant beautiful blue/green overlay in spots that weren’t quite so noticeable before. I am sold and will be buying more.

It’s a good nutritional dry food.
I really like this product because the bits are tiny enough for the small mouth of a guppy. It’s packed with good protein which is great for rapid growth and strong health. Sometimes I don’t have time to defrost and feed brine shrimp or bloodworms. This food is good as a alternative. I like to vary the food of my fish. I notice they are very energetic and robust.
