it is a digital stethoscope which amplifies both sound and noice by 40%. The Eko app is downloadable from the play/app Store. It is great for people who are a little hard of hearing but still required selective hearing with concentration to identify murmurs and other sounds.

Q: which charger is needed to charge stethoscope

Any phone usb charger can be used , a cable is included.

Q: can it be connected to a speaker to get real time heart sound

You can connect it to your phone for real sound. Haven't tried with speakers.

Q: Is the eko software lifetime free or does it need a subscription. How valuable is it in analyzing pediatric heart sounds.

The software is free , u need subscription for additional features like an AI to analyze the sound . It’s possibly the best stetho to assess heart sound , the amplification does a wonderful job in capturing even a grade 1 murmur with ease. I’ve recorded detailed heart sounds in a pentad of fallout
