Great antenna.
I live in New Jersey about 30 miles away from New York City and this antenna works perfect.. I was really surprised how many channels it picks up. If you're a little handy installing it is pretty easy.. and I was so happy saying goodbye to my cable provider.

Great antenna
We were looking for an antenna to help pick up local channels on the TV. This one is great! It comes with a remote to help you set the direction where you need it to be. It seems to be sturdy and well made and picks everylocal channel available to us.

VHF Reception Unacceptable, Rotation Does Not Operate
The system, antenna and pre-amplifier, is excellent for the UHF channels (19 & 25) I receive. However, the reception of the high VHF channel (13) is unacceptable. The channel 13 transmitter is the closest (7 miles) from my house, also the highest power. Yet the video is often pixelated, audio dropped, and occasionally displays No Signal Received. Yet channel 25 video and audio are excellent, never pixelated, even though it is further from the house and less than 80% of the power of channel 13. Furthermore, the rotator system does not operate.I rated this system #2 only because the UHF reception is excellent. Otherwise, don't waste your money on this product unless you want to receive only UHF channels and they're all from the same direction.Edit: I wish to retract my negative review of VHF reception. I since have read that a nearby transmitter with a strong signal can over power a pre-amp, giving the same symptoms as a weak distant signal. I've confirmed this by installing a non-amplified antenna. Reception from all transmitters is now excellent with crisp non-pixelating images. This antenna would be good for areas where transmitters were far enough away to not over power the pre-amp.However, my critique of the inoperative rotation remains. Thus, I increase the evaluation to only four stars.

Awesome Price, easy install
Awesome Price, easy install, and even includes wiring, mounting, and rotator for less than most antennas.I originally set this up to use with my SDR to pickup weak signals. But today I hooked it up to my tv and found that there were 17 tv stations I could pick up out here on our farm which is out of town. I was using just streaming internet but now that I know I have 17 stations I can watch, that is a great plus. Also it includes a built in amplifier to increase the far away signals as well as being able to directly focus on the most important channels for a super strong signal. I can't believe I got all this for less than most charge for a simple mouse pad kind of antenna. This is made out of strong and sturdy metal and plastic. Only had it for a few days but so far I am very pleased. As a bonus, it is cool to see it at night as it has a glowing red led at the bottom. Looks like a broadcast tower ;-)

Does not receive well.
Works no better than a $9 antenna.

These antennas do not last!
I believe that this will be the 4th or 5th antenna like this that I have purchased. I say " like' because some are slightly different, but yeah, they're all basically all the same. I have not yet received more than 10 months of service out of any of them. If there's a lightening storm within 400 miles, the antenna is toast. Okay 400 miles might be a bit much, but you get the idea.Other times the antenna just fails for no apparent reason. Why do I keep buying them? Good question, and one that I've asked myself many times. I guess the reason is I do not see anything that appears as if it's any better. But, I do believe that this is going to be my last antenna like this model. Hopefully... someone will make a better, more durable antenna in the near future. That, and, 30 or 40 bucks every 10 months, give or take, beats 100+ for cable every month. On the performance side, well, when the antenna is working, the reception, and the picture quality, are very good. But, much of the reception quality is due to my distance from the transmitter, ( maybe 10 mi as the crow flies ) and the fact that the antenna is mounted on the top of a 45' tower. I can say that the antenna did preform well at 25', but had a hard time holding the signal on some channels. The antenna does not have a 150 mile range. I doubt that the antenna can receive a station 100 miles away. Unless the antenna happened to be located on top of a 10,000 ft mountain. Line of sight and all that brings to the table. If you need a cheap antenna that'll last for a few months this will work. But do not expect much if the antenna is not mounted high above obstructions like trees, buildings, and such.

Small but still good.
Great antenna, bought this for my dads tv. He got a lot of local channels. He is happy. Smaller then I expected for the price.

76 channels
I'm in the middle of the woods and this thing was about to pickup 76 channels. All local and a load of channels I didn't even know was out there. Movies, cartoons, sports, sitcoms, a ton of shows. And I have 3 TV's hooked up on it. HD picture.
