Jessicurl, Gelebration Spray, Island Fantasy, 2 Fl oz. Curl Enhancer for Fine Hair with Flaxseed Extract, Curl Styler for Wavy Hair, Curly Hair Products

One of my favorite brands. I use this on refresher days especially. But I also use it after curl cream, and after gel, and after plopping ... when I give my hair a good diffuse before air drying, I will spray this on and it gives it that last little bit of structure to hold those waves before air drying. This stuff is a soft hold. I liked it enough, I ended up buying the 32 ounce refill bottle from their website. The one caveat is the spray is not super even and fine and I tend to get it all over my bathroom if I am not careful. But ... so far it has not clogged. Other than that, no regrets.

I love that Jessicurl has products for a variety of curl types/textures/patterns. This gel spray is the perfect weight for my super-fine, low-porosity, wavy 2b-c hair. And I love the smell (Island Fantasy) so much - it's not too heavy or overpowering. It's rare to find a travel-size bottle of spray product with an actual, decent spray nozzle on it!

I love the very light fragrance and the curl definition this gives. I use it with the jessicurl spiralicious styling gel. My hair doesn’t last more than a day with the product and these 2 products do leave flaking. Not a strong hold. But super light weight and bouncy curls after using it.

This product is for fine hair. As reference, I do have fine, wavy/curly hair. The product is UNSCENTED, which is fine with me provided it meets other expectations. For the price point, it did not. BE AWARE that this is the SAME PRODUCT as ROCKIN RINGLETS, just watered down. Ingredients are identical except for the added water. I bought both, and like Rockin Ringlets better for moisture. Neither have enough hold to last the day, so if I need to stay "presentable", I add on a stronger product. Pros: Lightweight moisture Helps detangle Cons: Does NOT hold curl or styling as much as other products Is NOT reducing frizz as much as expected and I follow all the "rules" for curly hair care. I wanted so much to love this for my hair, but I will keep trying out different products for now.

My hair is thin and wavy. The curls tend to straighten and this stuff is great for making the curl more prominent and longer lasting. I have been using it with a gel and also with water to refresh. I love that an unscented version is available.

It’s hard to know if this product works well because the sprayer, which doesn’t look like this - it’s just a regular finger press on the top button- shoots a straight stream of product, not a spray that would coat your hair. I ended up spraying it into my hands they rubbing it onto my hair, which doesn’t work well, either. The strands that did get product ended up hard. I may try it in a different sprayer, if I can find one.

Natural and no fragrance option works well for me. Love the feel and body I get when I comb out wet hair with it or use it to preserve curl and plop. Small business!

Update: I can’t give this hair spray anymore chances. I don’t understand how it passed QC. Zero stars aren’t possible so it gets 1 star. Original review: Bought the sample size. I don’t want to committ to a larger size right now. The product works but the spray nozzle is terrible. Not sure how this is possible considering this product is meant for hair care. This company needs to focus more on quality control regarding the bottle/packaging.
