Pros: It’s very easy to use. The suction power and seal are awesome. Lots of sealing and vacuum options. Factory quality vacuum seal. I love it! It comes with extra bags and a hose attachment to use on other accessories. Very well built and I love how you can see through the top area. Other machines I have researched do not have that. It doesn’t say on the product page(it says in the manual), but if you email them they will send you some more plastic sealer bags and register you for a 5 year warranty. They seem like a really good company that responded quickly to my email. Cons: The sides that you click down are a little hard to press down at first, but as you use it more it gets easier. It can be kind of loud, so I wouldn’t use it around sleeping children or animals that scare easily.

I use to have a Foodsaver, but got rid of it since I did not have room to store it in the kitchen and as a result used it very little. This unit is very small and easy to find a place to store it. It will only use bags not the continuous roll that a Foodsaver uses. I find the bags easier and quicker to use. Bags only need to be sealed on one end, making them more reliable. I was surprised how fast the Qocum Vacuum Sealer evacuated a bag and sealed it. I found it much easier to use than my old Foodsaver.

I love the item overall. Great machine for the price. But, during vacuum, it seems to loose suction. You have to really mash on the press area to get the suction to seal and finish. Does do well and seal very well

This sealer represents an excellent value when you compare it to others that can cost as much as $100! I like the clear view hood, the touch controls, it's slim design and sturdy build. We bought this to replace an old FoodSaver brand sealer. I can say for certain that the quality is right on par! The unit comes complete. You get the unit itself, some bags to get you going, a hose for vacuum bottles, an extra sealing gasket, instruction manual and a coupon for two free rolls of bags! Can't beat that.I had a few questions early on and contacted the seller. Very pleased with the customer service. Prompt response to my issue, which was an oversight on my part. But nonetheless great seller to deal with. They seem like they really stand behind their product! I highly recommend getting one of these if you're looking to stretch your food dollar. Excellent product!

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about how well this product would work. And let me just say I was right to be skeptical. When I purchase this vacuum sealer it was about $20. It worked great in the beginning but now sometimes it will not shut off and the heating coil that seals the bag gets too hot and smokes. Sometimes. I have reached out to customer service to try to see if this problem can be fixed. No one has ever gotten back with me. Do not buy this vacuum sealer. It's such a shame because it did work really good in the beginning. But if I have to replace it every 6 months, what's the point?

I had never used one of these before and sort of bought this on a whim. It took me several attempts before I figured out that when it says to make sure the lid is closed tightly, it means to smash it down very firmly on BOTH ends with both hands till it clicks. I really was afraid I would break the plastic lid, I had to push it down so hard before it clicked on both sides. But once i got that sorted, it was so easy.. the only thing I wish was different is that the buttons on top are very sensitive. Just brush over them and they are activated. Startled me more than once when i was leaning down close to it to line up the bag full of rice and somehow brushed over the panel and the vaccuum kicked on... I jumped and... there was rice.. everywhere.. :) Bottom line, this is a great vaccuum sealer for a beginner and I am glad I bought it.

This is my first vacuum sealer. Where has this been all my life? No more freezer burn food. I buy large cuts of meat and portion them out for the fam. Both freezers are full. All because of this little beauty. Sleek, fits in the kitchen drawer, quickly seals and vacs, easy to use and understand.The price of this little gem was super cheap even before my lightning deal. I got this for Christmas and I am sure it has paid for itself twice over so far. If your kitchen doesn’t have one, you are missing out and you don’t have to buy a high dollar machine either. This is plenty good for anyone.

I love vacuum sealing food since I bought this on a whim only because it was so affordable. It requires a good push down on either sealing end to hear the click of the outer push buttons to ensure a tight seal so the vacuum process can work. Happy with this purchase!
