Good price. Two is better than one. Sticks flat to frige. Caring service department. One glitch.
Pros: - Good price - Two is better than one. Any more would be overkill - Attractive blue and white looks good on refrigerator - Magnets are strong enough to hold timer securely to refrigerator - Timer sits flat against the refrigerator so it doesn't rock when set like my other brand timer - Large, easy to read numerals - Easy to set, easy to clear - Counts up as well as down which is a bonus - Two timers come in handy when both my wife and I are cooking separate dishes concurrently - Nicely packaged that way easy to open but protected the timers in shipment Cons: - Numerals are a bit gray instead of jet black like my other brand timer. Doesn't really affect operation. Bottomline: - I've only had these for a couple of weeks so time will tell how well they hold up to daily use although I am optimistic. - Based on my experience I would recommend these timers based on the pro's outlined above - Go for it Update April 4, 2019 I've have using these timers now for a few months and still give them five stars, although 4-1/2 stars might be more appropriate. There is one little glitch that is annoying. When I am grilling outside, I set the timer and let the grill warm up before putting the food on. I find that the timer turns off and resets if I don't use it within a few minutes. I have to then reset it prior to timing my grilling. My other brand timer stays set and ready to go. Not a really big deal, but you should be aware of this quirk.

Very nice timer with a couple of weaknesses ...
This Timer does everything a basic timer should do ... * On/Off Switch: I like the fact that it has an on/off switch. This is unlike many other such timers here on Amazon. * Display: The LCD is huge and very easy to read. Measures approx 1 x 2 1/4 inch. * Kick stand: The kick stand allows you to sit the timer on a flat surface with the face of the unit tilted back by about 30 degrees. * Functions: I was looking for a unit which counts up and down and this unit does it well. Press the ST/SP button while on timer is on zero, and it counts up. Press the Min/Sec button to set a duration, and then press ST/SP and it counts down instead. Fairly intuitive. * Beeps/Sound: The beeps are loud enough to be heard from an adjacent room -maybe further. It beeps on every button press -which may or may not be what some want. In my case, one of the units was for my son to use during an up-coming entrance exam. The loud beeps would not be welcome in this setting so i simply stuck some tape on the speaker -back of unit. That helped mute the sound quite a bit. The is no mute button. Now the weaknesses ... * Weak Magnet: The magnet on the back of the unit is not strong. The unit kept sliding down when attached to my stainless steel refrigerator. Had to mount it above another object on the fridge for it to stay put. I am not sure if perhaps it attaches better (stronger) on other metal surfaces. * Weak glue (behind magnet): Found the unit on the floor the day after mounting it to my refrigerator. The magnet had actually separated from the Timer and was still on the fridge -unit itself on the kitchen floor. Nothing which one cannot fix easily -if you have some glue on hand. In my case however, the Timer would no longer turn on. The 4 foot drop onto wooden floor had damaged it. Just contacted seller for replacement and waiting to hear back. Nice timer overall. But the issues with the magnet and the unit being damaged from one little fall (that fragile ?) leads me to 3 stars. Updated to 4 Stars: Uigos customer service (very responsive) sent me a replacement. This time i received a sightly larger timer (1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch display) with a stronger metallic magnet -pictured. No on/off switch on this unit (has a volume switch instead) but it shuts off automatically after about 10 mins of inactivity. Model number on manual says "HX103-2". Model number of unit I received earlier was JS-118. Either model works well but the HX103-2 certainly does not have the magnet/glue weakness issues.

Love these, Work great
I was surprised to see that there were two of them in the box. Which is great. I keep one in the kitchen and the other by my computer. I have never used timers regularly, and didn't like them. This is easy to use, and goes up to 99 minutes. So, this doesn't work if you're timing a turkey, for instance. Other than that, fabulous. I use them regularly for my soft-boiled eggs, which now come out perfectly. I no longer burn pizza. My baking is now precise and easy to oversee. The beeper is loud enough to raise the dead, which is great for me, because I am hard of hearing, and rush to turn it off. I mention this because I had other timers that went off without my hearing them. Lastly, it is small, and the numbers are large and easy to see. My sole annoyance, is that it is difficult to get it to stand up. The bracket that holds it up tends to slide and fall down easily. But, if you play with it, you'll figure out how to get it to stand up. If the manufacturer would make a sturdier bracket, it would be perfect.

Great, easy to use timer with alarm volume control options
I use these timers in my classroom as bathroom monitors. My students (ages 11-12) are easily able to figure out how to use them. Pros: - Easy to use; instructions are self explanatory - Big, easy to see buttons - Loud alarm with volume settings - Self turn off to save battery -Strong magnets on the back that easily attach to anything magnetic - Stand on the back for if you choose to place it on a desk Cons: - The back buttons so you have to clear the timer and reset it if you pass the number you're looking for - Screen doesn't light up so it can be hard to see in the dark. - Stand feels a bit flimsy (but hasn't been broken by my students yet!) Overall these are really good timers that are super easy to use. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for a new timer.

Very simple and straightforward to use timer couldn’t work out calculator function but dot need it anyway. Would be better with hours as well as minutes and seconds.

These kitchen timers perform as advertised. HOWEVER... they are unsuitable for a steamy environment like over the kitchen stove. They started to rust in < 60 days. Also, functionally, if you want to change the timer duration, press the [Minute] or [Second] button until it cycles through to the desired number OR switch the timer off and on with the small black switch next to the unit. In either case, it is fiddly to perform. It would be great to have a reset button. Despite the many reviews, the rear magnet stayed on (it didn't peel off). I would like to see a stronger magnet used in the revision as it can be knocked off easily if, for example, the timer is attached to a cabinet door that opens and closes. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these timers.
