Doesn't come with directions as to what side is ground on the pin side of the device. Too many colors... Though not a big issue for the tech savvy.For this particular model:Just face the side with the cut out portion toward the CPU.IF your ground pins are on the right in your system panel pins on your motherboard...Otherwise reverse it.

I screwed up with the power button on my case. I bought this as a "oops, I screwed up" item.The quality is pretty good. The power button has a very satisfying click. The reset button is small, but hopefully you won't use it often. I'll probably get another one for testing purposes. In fact, being able to set up the front panel connectors outside the case is quite beneficial.I do wish there was a 5.25" drive bay cover, but that was easy to drill a hole in to my case's cover. I'm running it through the 5.25" drive bay this way just fine.

I use these as buttons for PCs I put in non-standard cases, including pinball or arcade cabinets. They consistently work great, are easy to install, and just work. The adhesion isn't perfect, but it's good enough, and it's not like you can't use another bit of mounting tape if the provided one fails.

My computer lives in my desk's PC cabinet which also has a child safety lock on it. I wanted to have a power button on my desk so I wouldn't have to open the cabinet door every time I wanted to turn on my computer. This little button does the trick. Now I can just sit down at the keyboard and hit the button to turn my computer on. It was easy to install mostly because my motherboard had the jumpers clearly marked.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a new system on my bench but didn't have a case for it (it's an open frameless setup) and I needed a power button, reset button, and LED indicators for the HDD and power. This was perfect and worked great! I picked this over another similar item because it didn't have any branding on the red plastic that the other one had.

this is the only one of this type a found on Amazon.com and its so useful I am surprised there isn't many variations of this. this helps me to keep my PC out of sight and still have the control handy. It's just what I was looking for.

It would be helpful if you included a diagram of the common case connectors that the switch plugs into.

Easy enough to install. Just remember where your cases pins were if the motherboard isn't already labeled.

The media could not be loaded.  My 6 month old Sahara case power switch failed. Who needs the hassle of a return.So purchased the segotep which must be related somehow to Imhotep as it looks like a rare piece of jewelry one would find in a tomb. The flashing is like a trapped Djin trying to communicate.The +- are on the (brown) reset connection, so you know how to install it correctly. It has so far proved up to the job with a nice solid feeling click, the reset is perfect. No chance of accidentally resetting a system.
