Perfect for dip nails!
I'm using this fume extractor to help with my at-home dip manicures. It really helps to eliminate odor from the dip chemicals! The fan is powerful, but it isn't too loud or noisy. It's compact and lightweight so it doesn't take up much room on my desk and is easy to store. I feel like this was an excellent investment and has made at-home manicures so much more enjoyable.

Works great
This does a great job of pulling away and filtering soldering fumes. I’ve used it several times indoors and took away any smell that normally would have kept me from soldering indoors. Even using in a ventilated area kept the fumes from getting in my nose and eyes. Great product

Quiet little extractor!
Great little fume extractor, have watch flux smoke get sucked in while soldering my stained glass. Quiet, can hear my music over it still. Concerned with how thin the filter is as to its effectiveness.

Needs good placement above the fume source to be most effective; good for microscope
What do you expect from a small unit with a 120mm fan? The unit must be placed close to the fumes and above to get the most out of it. That means some sort of stand or hanging it off something. It is a trade-off between size, noise and available bench space. It produces noise as any fan does but is not excessive but I wear hearing protection if using it for longer than 10 minutes. The unit is nicely done! The front comes off easily to replace the pre-filter and the carbon filter. The hard plastic housing is sturdy, though it may not survive a fall to a hard floor. Honestly, a 140mm or 200mm fan is needed to capture more fumes. Air flow is needed in the right spot. I watched many video reviews on larger units that don't do as well as expected considering their size. Even those with horns and flexible tubing don't seem to have the airflow needed to capture all the fumes. And those units tend to be rather loud! In summary, for me, placing it above the fume source helped to get more fumes. I use a lighted magnifying glass that diverts fumes from my face. I tend to hold my breath while applying solder. This unit is well built and worth a try for the price. UPDATE: placed in front of an AMSCOPE SE400-Z microscope on its base and it works well. I added some upholstery floss in front - would reduce air flow but hopefully capture most of the sticky fumes. Also, I modified the MUIN fan to have a mini toggle switch as I don't like on-cord power switches. (I don't recommend doing this unless experienced.)

Breathe easy
Excellent little contraption that removes the smoke from soldering effectively from the air. You can watch the stream going into the fan, but best of all is that you don't smell anything. Lightweight and easy to move around your workspace so you can keep it really close to the action to ensure that all the fumes are effectively vacuumed up. I won't be soldering indoors without this ever again.

Short Lifespan
Worked for a few times but it just turns on briefly now and won't stay on I tried running without the filter different plugs but nothing works. For only running it a few minutes I doubt that should be worn out by now.

Does the job.
Great little fume extractor. Fan is strong and seems well built. Only thing is I wish it was taller. I sometimes have to prop it up on something when I am working to capture the fumes.

Works great
This little thing works even better than larger fume extractors. It's a little louder than others but it works well from 6 inches away, which is where other extractors in the $25-$100 range fail. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is adding legs so it sits higher, but that's easy to fix by setting it on a box.

I don't have to breath all the fumes of the wood. I love it. Thank you 😊

It sucks up some fumes, but the range and area is quite short. The filtering also seems suspicious. Works to move the fumes away from your face, but isn't enough to safely solder without any other ventilation.

Was a waste of money for my pyrography Hobbie, might try hanging it above my work to see if that helps but it does not draw the smoke in well enough just sitting beside the work, might be okay for soldering
