Pay me now/Pay me later?
I have been using Wix oil filters for many years. My 1989 F-150 which was used as a work truck was still running after 409K miles. Given to a family member. 2001 F-150 4x4 was still running when sold after 367K miles, also a work truck. My 2013 F-150 4x4 only has 151,000 bought when I retired over 10 years ago. None of these ever had a internal repair of the engine. Wix filters and full synthetic oil, time tested success.

Wix has been my filter of choice for many years
WIX makes what I believe to be the best filters in the business. The longevity of my engines is proof enough for me. High Mileage with zero oil consumption or engine issues is hard to dispute.I look at WIX oil filters as cheap insurance against lubricated engine failures.
