Yes there are two versions. Just discovered this as my GF bought both and the other one has a digital temperature control and auto shut off

That’s because they are marking up to make more of a profit. I have this straightener, it’s the real deal, and I love it! I only use Chi straighteners because my hair is very coarse and resistant. If it wasn’t for real it wouldn’t work on my hair. Hope this helps!

Q: Is it good for fine hair? Or is it better to get the one with heat control?

It’s super hot with no control. Be sure to use heat spray and don’t go to super slow. It’ll be fine
