Woodland Scenics SP4124 Desert Plants Diorama Kit

This kit has a very nice variety of desert bushes/shrubs and cactus. I like how the shrubs/bushes look realistic especially when you add the yellow and red powder to them. The glue that came with the set was surprisingly strong and it dried nice and clear. I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough to keep the rocks in place and the cactus standing, but it was. The only downside is that the powder is really messy so you might want to put newspaper or something underneath when applying.

Great for science project

My son is in the 1st grade and he had to do a project on kangaroos and their environment. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything. And then this amazing product popped up on my screen it was exactly what we needed to get a 100 on his project. Just be aware that it does not come with a platform so you have to be creative or just purchase one. For example we just used a small box and colored it to look like sand. The kangaroos was bought separately and it matched perfectly with this product. Not to mention how simple the instructions are. AMAZON WE LOVE YOOUUUUUU😍😍

My son had a school project and I was hoping this would help set the background up to complete. When it arrived it was very small, tiny, and I was disappointed in the size. Won’t work for class projects but definitely for a hobby project.

My daughter received a B on her project considering it was about creating the display of a desert. The powder substance wasn’t as thick as I thought it was. It’s very thin. The project glue doesn’t hold well at all. Trying to get the cactus pieces to stick was very tedious. The material used for the grass was small and thin so you could only make so much grass. Basically everything comes small and there’s not enough to make a really good display. There was a lot of cactus pieces though. Also, the carriage on the box does NOT come with it. Overall . . I’ll give it a solid 2.5 out of 5 for effort.

The kit was smaller that I expected but worked well for a school project and we enjoyed putting it together. We poked holes in the cardboard to stick the little plastic pieces in place.

This was much smaller than expected and should have cost $3 with the amount of items given in the kit. Was really displeased with this as I bought it to add to my son's school project. Had to use it and not return it, but if it wasn't needed ASAP I would have returned.

This kit is cheesy. The only thing worth using is the plastic cactuses. The same was golden yellow. It looks nothing like real sand. Was a total waste of money.

Poor product. No base. Rip off
