You can find better
This takes up to much space on your grip and slowly drops speed. There is much better out there.

Order from this company at your own risk.
I was shipped a incomplete package. Most likely it was a return. It was missing the instructions. Lacking instructions makes installation difficult. It is on there but it took a little trial and error. It doesn't really hold the throttle that well. It needs to be tighter but when I tighten it enough it is too difficult while riding to engage and disengage.

For the price, this locks your throttle...
First of all, this is a very efficient throttle lock for the money. I've had throttle locks in the past (waaayyy in the past, mid 80's) and this is definitely a better mechanism. The instructions are... well... not really helpful. Lots of pictures showing you the parts, but this ain't your paint by numbers kit! It's a pretty straightforward process. On my Himalayan, I had to move the mirror/brake reservoir assembly a bit to create space for the support bracket. 7/8" handlebar spacers work just fine.Construction: Built well and it should last. The moveable parts are going to be hard to wear out.Function: I've got the three Allen screws in tight to put the collar on the handlebar grip, and I've got the spring tension set so I get the throttle to snap back to "zero throttle" once I thumb the lock to "off". When locked, there is a little throttle creep that will reduce rpm's before it settles to "locked". I may tweak the spring tension a little more and see if I can get it to hold immediately, and release just as quickly.Price: Hard to beat for what you get.Instructions: It's more of a general guide, but it's not hard to figure out once you've read it. Just make sure you put the thumb lock screw through the "eye" of the screw the spring goes through (my "aha!" moment). If you ever ride constantly between gas stops, your right wrist will appreciate this throttle lock.

won't work with the contained kill switch body and throttle body. Just too large.
Not meant to fit on a honda goldwing 1500 handle bar with the kill switch all contained with the throttle. More room is needed.

Throttle Lock? Cruise Control? Whatever!
Worth the money I spent! I took my time and put this on my bike. Because it is a universal throttle lock, you do have to make it fit your bike. I ended up sawing 1/3 of the spacer to install it and it fits perfectly. I used it last night on a quick 50 mile ride and t worked great! I had one of these on my last bike and it helped out a lot with being able to stretch your hands out on a long ride and getting rid of some of the numbness from gripping too tight. Definitely would buy again or for a friend.

Throttle lock
Put mine on a Suzuki intruder 1500. Works good but does occasionally back off. May need more adjustment..

Does not work
Product is a great idea, it just doesn't work well. With it locked, the throttle slowly closes. It was not the friction ring, the throttle grip was slipping under the rubber spacers and I did not want to glue the spacers to my nice grips. unfortunately I had to return it.
