This thing transforms my tiny DeWalt 745 into a very effective, large capacity "shopish" saw. No, it's not a Cabinet saw or even a heavy contractors saw, but I can now easily rip full 4x8 sheets solo without worrying about the saw tipping over, and the longer fence is a big improvement on the 745's short fence. Yes, the rack and pinion fence is nice, but is quite short and can be difficult to keep longer pieces tracking straight through the saw.I went ahead and removed the laminate side table and made my own plywood top that eliminates most of the gaps around the front and right side of the saws top, and fabricated an easily removable outfeed table the width of the entire Rousseau stand which can double as a large work table when the saw is not in use. I couldn't stomach the $160 for their outfeed for what it is, but the saw stand is a bargain. I was planning on making my own table saw stand, but after mulling around a bit, I realized I couldn't build a similar stand for what this one costs in materials alone, never mind the powder coating and 20-30 hours it would take to cut, drill, prep and weld it all. This thing really is great. Once you get the saw and stand planed out, it literally takes 30 seconds to set it up and break it down. I removed most of the fence related parts of the 745 which dropped about 10lbs making it easily a one handed carrying operation. The stand is a bit heavy, but manageable. Best part is, it folds up into a very small footprint, about 6" deep and however wide the stand is (~29") which is considerably less than the rolling stand I had the saw on before. If you're looking for a shop made solution to increase the capabilities of a small portable table saw, this thing is it.

Great Table, well made
Very well built and rigid, it securely holds my saw. Set up was relatively straight forward and the fence is very accurate with little to no adjustment. One note, My saw is a Makita 2703 and it does not just drop in you need to take the table top off loosen the 'J' hook bar and slide it out to make the drop in area wider. The instructions say to cut the table top so the over hang is back to original spec (this is important if you want to add an optional extension).I did have to call customer service, for the following reason, once I adjusted the 'J' hooks so the saw was level with the table the 'J' hooks hit the bottom of the table top. Customer service was excellent and they suggested that a work around was to route out the bottom just enough so the 'J' hooks would clear the bottom. This worked out fine and I have no complaints with the modification considering the age of my sawWould I buy again? for my situation Yes.This is pricey and for a little more money you can buy a new contractor sized saw. Since my saw is in great condition I didn't want to replace it and the Rousseau table definitely makes this saw easier to use with larger pieces of wood and the fence is much better that the one that came with the saw.

The best small shop/portable solution. Period.
As a hobbyist, I used to make reproduction Arts & Crafts furniture, with a workshop full of serious tools - a Jet cabinet saw, 15" planer, 8" jointer, plus other serious iron. After losing my shop in a wildfire, I gave up woodworking for 5 years, but never lost the "bug". So, I decided to get back into it, but as more of a minimalist venture. I researched portable table saws, but never really liked the smaller work areas. Then I stumbled upon the Rousseau stand; I was intrigued that I could buy a small portable saw , add this stand, and still be very close in purchase price to a "wheeled portable" saw, with a MUCH more robust fence system. I couldn't be happier with my decision. The stand sets up in a minute, and once I made the simple adjustments to flush the saw with the table, and the fence parallel to the blade, this little monster is cutting panels as precise as my XACTA fence did. There are trade-offs - the small infeed area of my DWE7480 does not go unnoticed, but the stand is stable, the work area is huge compared to those wheeled saws, and the stand's construction of heavy duty tubing looks to be able to stand up to a lot of abuse. Frankly, the limitations that I have are limited to the saw - not the stand. The bonus is that Rousseau's customer service is solid - they have answered every question promptly and professionally. Made in America with true American tool quality. Not "cheap", but worth every penny.

Great Stand but will not fit larger saws
Bought this based on experience with Rousseaus older saw stands. This one is larger and sturdier. It can also be attached and detached quickly unlike older stands. However, their figment guide seems incorrect. I own a Metabo C10RJ tablesaw. It is supposed to fit this 2780 stand. Sadly it does not.So I now own a stand but cannot use it with the saw. The huge benefit of these stands is the possibility to add the Rousseau outfeed table. This makes cutting long or larger pieces of wood much easier especially if you are working without a helper. I would give this a 5star rating but wish their fitment guide was correct for current model table saws from various manufacturers

Amazing set up and turns your saw into a cabinet saw with portability!
I love the base and add on wings. It’s turns the base saw into a cabinet saw! With 49” rip capacity it really makes it easy. If you are a portable shop set up its a must. I had to calibrate to my dewalt, raised the leg supports to even it and squared the fence. The add on wings I had to shin up to align with the top of the deck, the welds were just a joy had off but no biggy. The out feed simply rests on the back fence. I will tap in a self tap to lock the side wings in place for permanent position. Loving it. It performs similar to my cabinet saw.

Great stand, we'll built.
This is a wall built stand. My DeWalt DWE7485 fit perfectly out of the box, with no adjustments necessary. Just had to apply the measuring tape for the fence. Fence is also well made and easy to use.
