JulepEyeshadow 101 Crème-to-Powder Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick Duo – Long-Lasting, Crease-Proof, Easy Apply with Built-in Smudger - Sand Shimmer and Smoky Tawny Matte

I wanted a waterproof taupe cream eyeshadow (not necessarily a stick) and this deal finally popped up several pages into my search. I have a couple of Julep products i really like (blush sticks) and having seen many single Julep shadow sticks for about the same price as this duo, I really couldn’t resist. I was really late to the game but what I hoped to find was a dupe (or at least as close as possible) for the Pat McGrath metallic taupe shadow that much to my dismay, has been discontinued. I saw a youtube makeup influencer rave about the Pat McGrath shade, claiming it was the perfect “‘one and done” product especially for those with cool toned skin. So I spent some exhausting time trying to find the Pat McGrath shadow SOMEWHERE but nope, not a one to be found. Naturally the next step was to check amazon for something similar. I already loved the Julep multi stick blushes but buying makeup online (esp on Amazon) is pretty much a crap shoot. But since the words describing these two Julep shadow sticks ticked all the boxes, I figured, what the hay. When they arrived today, I was extremely happy that BOTH are fantastic colors for me and it’s really nice to have both a taupe matte and a shimmer option. I just hope these sticks wear as well as the blush sticks. The color of the matte taupe stick is what I consider neutral, meaning not warm but not cool either. The shimmer shade is definitely cool but I guess cool tones are finally in vogue again and I couldn’t be happier. This is a very creamy formula pretty much on par with the Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown formulas. And they are much much better than the Sephora brand shadow sticks, which I (unfortunately) tried first....don’t go there. These glide on and are great with and without a shadow primer. I get a sheerer wash when I don’t use a primer and more depth of color when I do. I can probably use these two sticks to do a very nice daytime as well as evening, smokey eye and probably in about 5 minutes (which is amazing...it takes me forever). The matte shade will probably be great for the lower lashline and I’m looking forward to using these to create a “fox” eye look too. So I definitely recommend this duo. When I realized I could get two shades with 2 different finishes for the same price as other sellers are asking for just one, I had to pull the trigger.

Absolutely beautiful colors and go good with pretty much anything. Goes on sheer and looks great on. Not too dark and blends so good. This is one of the best deals I think I have ever gotten on quality makeup! Seems to be as good as or better than Thrive eyeshadow sticks! I can use these everyday and they literally are waterproof!

I bought this because it was cheaper than Thrive cosmetics and the reviews were pretty good. I love it so much! I wear it every day and it stays on all day long. Even after the gym! The colors are great. I typically only wear a very light brown, but these both look great. I get so many compliments! I will most definitely buy again!

NOT BLACK! Be careful and don't buy this if you're hoping for a midnight black, like I was. The colors are actually Champagne Shimmer and Midnight BLUE. A little disappointed as I don't wear navy blue eyeshadow...

Good, creamy, pleasant colors. Soft crayon, blends well. Rolls into crease line a bit

This product is absolutely amazing! It glides on so smoothly and blends so easily. It does have the built in sponge blender but I just tap/smudge lightly with my finger tip. What I like most about this product is that it has incredible staying power. I put it on at 5.30 am and it's still on with the same intensity - no fading or smudging at 9pm. It does not smudge, smear or flake into or around my eyes. I love that it isn't at all heavy nor does it cake up on my eyelids. It's very natural looking. I have heard some women say that they don't want to use "shimmer" colors after a certain age. I'm 63 and love the shimmer (and the matte as well). The shimmer is more illuminating/brightening and not at all glittery or sparkly. I have worn it in hot humid weather and it still holds up and doesn't crease at all. I just can say enough good things about this product. I have five shades right now and plan to get more. I'd give this product 100 stars if I could and highly recommend it.

Love this cream eyeshadow. I draw it onto my eyelids as a base, then use powder eyeshadow with it. Really durable application.

I love this eyeshadow! It goes on in seconds, stays on until I wash my face at night, and looks so natural. It never makes those crease lines that other shadows create. I use a lighter one for the base, then a darker one to define the inset of my eyelid. SOOO happy with this product.
