Good fountain for its price point. The ink flow is good, always writes, and the ergonomic design works to improve handwriting legibility.

I saw this pen used by a YouTuber for inking urban sketches. I knew once I saw it that I wanted one for a gift for my wife. She LOVES it. It’s versatile in that you can change out cartridges and have different ink colors. Watching her use it, it seems to flow really well without a bunch of ink runs that can happen if the ink flows too much. It creates clean clear lines that really accentuate the beautiful lines in a drawing. I’m VERY happy. My wife suggested having a couple for dedicated colors. Great product!

Lovely pen.

I haven't used a fountain pen in a while and wanted to get back into it. I got a drugstore fountain pen just to try, and it was no good, so I had to try something else. This was the most recommended beginner fountain pen so I bought it. It writes very smoothly, and it was easy to get started. Even though it's plastic it still feels solid and well put together. The wire pocket clip gives it a modern look. Also like how it's available in fun colors like the bright green I got. I'm interested to try out the black ink. If a pen could ever be worth $22 this is the one.

One of the best ink pens I have ever used at this price point. The build quality is really good and the grip is comfortable. I wish the ink refilling system was easier. It feels a little clunky and sometimes I have to fill up, empty and refill to properly fill up the chamber.

Fine point is easy for writing and drawing, pen is easily held in the hand, no stress or scratching.eaay

I have probably 10 Lamy fountainpens. I bought my first one in 1983. I love these pens, they are durable, light and the colors are nice and you can find them in the darkets part of a purse or backpack. The clip is really good too. Easy to change nibs on these pens, so if you bought a broad you can get a fine nib online and change it yourself with little to no experience. They may not scream MONTEBLANC and $3,000. but you wont cry if you loose it either. This pen uses large cartriges and when you are writing those Christmas cards or Bridal Shower Thank You notes, you will be very happy you are using this $30+/- pen as opposed to a heavier brass bodied pen with the turned guilloche enamel work and 18K nib that after 10 cards you will feel like you have written War and Peace with.

This is my second Lamy Safari, both have fine nibs. For the price, I don't think you can buy a better fountain pen.
