Best egg slicer ever created. Heavy duty last forever. I have given them to all of my friends and family that I visit so that I will have an egg slicer when I visit their house. I carry one in my car as a just in case, and I have two at home. Excellent product I guess it’s that foreign German engineering. However, do not put it in the dishwasher if you use cascade, and you have hard water in your area it will make it pit the housing.

Slices eggs perfectly without getting hung up. Wires are nice and sharp for moving through an egg and make neat slices. Easy to use and clean. It's a good quality piece and a good value.

This item works well with wife’s RA. It is simple to use, very nicely priced, fits in my drawer (house lacking in storage space!) design is simple, you can cut your eggs vertically and rotate it and cut it length wise. Simpler than using a kitchen rack. I’ve had 3 different egg cutters and this is the best by far, although I do miss the one I had with 2 cutting ‘blades’. It is well built and safe to use, clean. My wife has been known to cut herself with butter knives, but try as she might, even in water (we DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING THIS) washed it with a sponge and hot soapy water, when she rinsed it, amazingly, she did not cut herself. This is very dependable and my wife highly recommends.

This was a great little gadget to buy right before the Thanksgiving cooking festivities! So many people are eating healthy this year so I made a big Cobb salad. This egg slicer is durable and cut through the eggs with no tearing or clogging of the device. It was so easy to use and small enough to store easily in my kitchen.

Replaced one in which one of the wires broke. Good quality - sturdy. I look forward to using it.

This is the second egg slicer I have purchased in the past week. The first one was triple the price of this one and came with defects. So back it went! This little slicer is perfect, seems sturdy enough and is much better than the plastic ones I have owned in the past. I really like the compact size of this slicer as well. Small but not too small. This checks all the boxes so, I am hoping this will be the last egg slicer I need to buy but time will tell. Should the finish deteriorate or the sharpness of the slicing threads dull in a short period of time I will advise by updating this review. Overall, this seems to be excellent value. EDIT: After using this slicer for a few months I can say it is a terrific product. It is sturdy, slices well and will last for years. No regrets on this purchase, and I would not hesitate to repurchase or recommend it!

Very weak quality

I’ve tried a few egg slicers including a major brand. But this is by far the best. It copes with eggs of all sizes. It goes in the dishwasher many times. All wires remain tight. After much use, it still looks great and cuts boiled eggs very well. It is well designed. It doesn’t catch water in the dishwasher so it hasn’t tarnished. A great product!!
