I used it to mount a heavy power strip to the underside of my desk and a spice rack to my kitchen tile—both haven't budged an inch in over a month. • Weather Resistance: I used a small strip to secure a doorbell camera to my outdoor brick siding. Despite a week of heavy rain and fluctuating temperatures, the bond is still rock solid. The acrylic foam core seems to absorb vibrations and handle thermal expansion much better than thin tapes. • Thickness: It has a slight "squish" to it, which is actually a benefit. It helps the tape conform to slightly uneven surfaces, ensuring 100% contact even if your wall isn't perfectly flat. Installation Tips (Crucial for a permanent bond): • Surface Prep: Do not skip the rubbing alcohol. Any hint of dust or finger oil will compromise the bond. This is used to stick skateboard tape to a handle that gets lots of heavy grip use. The skateboard tape doesn't stick well enough and is not durable. So I used this double sided tape. It does the job very well under a real test of vigorous use.
