Fights like a pistol
This slingshot is my second high performance catapult and i love it. By far the highest power for heavy ammo i have found. Flat bands are snappy-er with ammo im told, but the heavy ammo transfers kinetic energy in joules much beter with this and similar triple band slingshots. The bands themselves are not my favorite but they are adequate for .50 cal steel ammo. As for ammo i feel this is best powered by .50 cal steel but it could easily hurl a 200 grain projectile far. Its great to have and much quieter than firearms. I recomend this. Update. I have since put about 1500 rounds through one band set and had to replace the triple band. No complaint though, theese bands were designed to be replaced anyway. I use a vlcooly type band set now and got more power and range. Love it. The magnet deck is powerfull and effective at holding steel ammo. It seems like maintenance is minimal but its good to tighten down the deck and flashlight screws due to vibration. The deck itself has a nice point that functions as a great non obstructive sight. I didnt put em to the chronograph, but i estimate that im slingin daisy 3/8" steel about 500+ fps. 1/2" steel at about 400 fps. Deadly power for ammo of this weight. This slingshot is so usefull for me that i have voiced it as a quiet ranged weapon. I suppose that i estimate the kinetic energy in joules to be umm... A lot. Getting hit with a 400+ fps .50 ball is like getting shot with a pistol or light rifle. Even more power with heavy weight lead or alloy ammo. Im the kind of guy that would keep a 400 grain ball for deadly force. This would be ideal for combat and hunting. second update. I still enjoy this slingshot and have fired thousands and thousands of shots. As you can see in the photo, the plastic sheathing on the arm brace has worn down due to heavy use band slaps and had to be removed because it had sharp edges. I dont mind since performance is unaffected. Ive gone through about 5 band replacements with the factory triple bands averaging about 300 shots and the aftermarket bands easily exceeding 5000 shots. The green bands you see in the picture are by morefarther and are the strongest triple bands ive found on amazon. Vlcooly also makes good triple bands of a medium pull weight. I see no evidence of wear and tear on the slingshot itself and is built rather sturdy. I have noted that you really gotta tighten down the screws because vibrations eventually loosen them. Im not gonna use lock tite on the screws, but i do regularly tighten them down hard. Ive noticed that this slingshot was intended to have an anchor point on your cheek and shorter bands for that rather than the full butterfly shooting style. I still dont get much use from the laser or flashlight, but i sure do feel safer in the dark with this flashlight lol.

fantastic slingshot with a minimal number downsides. 150% worth the cost
I'm a beginner. had my slingshot from when i was like 14, thought id play with it again, and did some research on slingshots, how to use them accurately, types of bands, what's the main differences in bands, frame types, etc..anyways i soon wanted to get back into slingshots again and practice until i get good and figured since my old one uses a singular tube band( not as well performing as flat in general) and the frame was mostly plastic i went and found this slingshot to be a great upgrade for mehad this slingshot for 2 days now and first thing i noticed was how beutyfull the paint finish on this is, it looks like they dipped it in ionized paint or something but all i can tell is its nice with a good texture, and everything else about the slingshot is good.the original bands are VERY heavy for stock bands. I've been lifting weights for 4 years and my grip couldn't keep it pulled back without shacking which makes it hard to aim.this has its pros and cons in itself but long story short it can probably throw heavy projectiles like a 1 inch steal ball well compared to most bands but requires decently strong arms to use accuratelyhowever I've found it is definitely posable to attach flat bands which gives a much wider variety of pull strengths to choose from not to mention they ,from what i researched, have a faster return speed when using light-medium weight ammo.the images attached to this review shows my setup for the flat bands.note: the cut up eraser that is fit in outside sights is necessary as with ought them the metal edges is enough to tear threw the bands. i have just regular rubber bands holding everything in place so i can easily remove anything if i ever want to

It looks great, but
It looks great. Itβs a nice product. The only thing I noticed after using it multiple times is it seems to not be as accurate after the straps get stretched a little bit so you may have to replace those quite often. I bought it for protection.

Mess stuff up
Serious equipment. This is fun and serious.

My opinion
It's not as strong as I thought it would have been as well as I never received the green bands I got a red band instead of the green.

Great slingshot for a novice
I bought the slingshot to help with racoon control and it works great once you develop your aim technique and build confidence. Just remember that this slingshot is the real deal and is very powerful.

Crap. Terribly disappointed. Avoid.
Crap. Pot metal parts and misaligned/rattles. Wrist brace bent to one side and made of tempered metal (the only part for which this can be said) and is bent to one side. It's NOT reversible, so this bending has nothing to do with right/left handedness. As it's tempered, this part can't be bent to correct. The light mount is badly made and allows the light to wiggle even when every bolt is snugged up. The screw became bent when tightened further when trying to alleviate the rattle, so now I'm sure I've "broken" it and can't get a return. The slingshot came with ZERO paperwork of any kind. No instructions, no company literature or acknowledgment, nothing. Imagine getting something from China. It's like that, except it didn't take nine to twenty weeks to get this piece of crap.If I am contacted by the company and made an offer to fix this mess, I'll pull this review, but at the moment I'm very disappointed that I couldn't take my son out today to use this thing and relive a part of my childhood.
