When my plastic drawer inserts where I keep a lot of my kitchen utensils started to crack, I needed a replacement. I decided upon this bamboo expandable insert for more of a built-in look. My drawer now looks great. The expandable sides fit perfectly inside, with a small amount of space left at the base (or at the back, if you prefer) for me to tuck long, thin pieces. The only drawback is that the thickness of the wood walls lessens the usable space. Even though I got rid of a lot of my old stuff when I cleaned out the drawer, this one looks just as full.I really appreciate the expandable feature because I couldn't find anything with my exact drawer measurements. Although the middle three compartments are fixed, the outer two are not. I've made it so the left outer side is more narrow than the right, allowing for wider utensils to fit on the right.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Love this organizer for my kitchen utensils and tools! Expanded most of the way it perfectly fits the width of one of my drawers and holds a lot of stuff!Pros:-Great for organizing kitchen utensils and tools in a drawer.-Love that it can expand so I can move to different drawers if needed-Looks really nice in the drawer-Sturdy and good qualityCons:-Bottom is a little thicker than I'd like, it does prevent some bigger items from fitting in the drawer (ex: potato masher/ricer)-Tends to slide about 1/4in back when I close the drawer. This could be resolved I'm sure with a different shelf liner. It's not a big issue and more just a minor annoyance that can be fixed easily with closing the drawer softer.Overall very happy with the organizer. I love bamboo in the kitchen and this fits nicely in a set I've made with other similar items. Keeps my utensil drawer organized, which is what I needed!

I just ordered this drawer organizer and I really like it. Mine did not have a cardboard bottom; it was made of bamboo throughout. Maybe they have changed the product since the last review a couple of years ago. The product is beautiful and expands to fit my drawer nicely. My drawer is a couple of inches longer than the product, so I placed a couple of pieces of scrap wood behind the product at the back of the drawer to keep the organizer from sliding backward. I never take the organizer out of the drawer, so I don't have any problem with the product sagging in the middle from weight. I also placed the organizer into the drawer, and positioned it the way I wanted it, before adding the cooking utensils to the organizer. This eliminated any undue stress on the organizer. I am going to buy the 7 compartment unit for my other drawer.

I have very wide drawers and the basic utensil holder is not big enough. I also have a lot of bigger cooking utensils and they just end up all over the drawer and I can never find them. These trays are fantastic. Great quality, they expand to the width of the drawer. They look like they are built in. I ordered 2 then I ordered three more!! Price is reasonable and I am very happy with it. Now there is a place for everything and everything is in its place. I recommend it highly.

I bought 5 different bamboo organizers from different brands/companies at the same time. This one is the simplest, biggest one and the best one in terms material quality.The only thing is that there are two tiny little pieces peeled off from one of the compartments as shown in the pictures. It certainly turned my "Wow" to an "Oh..." for a moment. But to be fair, I would deduct only half of a star from it if it's an option because this is probably due to shipping and handling, yet there's certainly room for improvement.I will just use some tape to cover it over and will order again from this company. If the same thing happens, then it's another story.

Fits well in our drawer and love the adjustable nature of it. It feels sturdy and is a decent price. Easy to clean. Great organizer

The size is just about perfect. The quality good enough. The fact that it expands to fit our drawer -- wonderful.

So far pleased with the quality. They don't do much moving in the drawer and they fit all of our odd-width drawers well. Not sure how durable they would be if taken out and used in a different manner, but just sitting in a drawer they do fine.
