This did a really good job of toning my silver hair. I didn't time anything, just left the shampoo on while I shaved my legs, etc., and the conditioner while I did some other scrubbing. My hair looked really great after drying. It took out some of the yellow without making it purple. My hair feels great and my scalp is not dry and itchy, a side effect of leaving some toning shampoos on.I can't comment on the scent as I really didn't notice it when shampooing and don't notice anything now.But I really like this. It is the best toning shampoo/conditioner I have tried all year.

I have tried several different purple shampoos & purple conditioners, ranging from less expensive to more expensive ones. This duo is on the pricey side, and for the most part, it does a decent job of removing the yellow-orange tones from the hair. However, I will say to evenly apply the product to avoid getting patchy areas in the hair. Another thing to note is that it can leave the hair slightly purple if left on longer. Although I don't mind having purple hair; I like that after a few washes, my hair color is a grayish tone. But, overall, I like this duo of shampoo & conditioner when I want to remove any brassiness in my hair. It also isn't harsh on my bleached hair. In addition, it has a pleasant scent and nourishing touch to my hair. Finally, I can't forget about the cute bag included in his duo. I think it's perfect as a makeup bag or to store any miscellaneous items you may have.

Great set for travel, it even has a nice quality case. It's kind of like a makeup bag with the goodies tucked inside.Great for blondes, great for gray. Made my gray look a lot less dowdy.

I've silver to grey to black balayage hair, and this shampoo and conditioner duo (along with a leave in mist) helps to keep the silver and grey parts from turning yellow between touch-ups. It's a good bargain, price-wise, and there's a nice bag great for traveling or organizing things that comes along with it. I've never heard of Watermans before, but these products are just as good as more expensive ones.

I've tried many purple shampoos and conditioners, and I was super impressed with this product! I used it once, and it took the brassiness out of my highlights and gave it the nice cool white blonde that I love. I will use this once per week so I don't go too gray/purple. Great product for beautiful blonde!

A few years ago I decided to stop coloring and allow my hair to go back to its natural state. At the time, I had no idea what I was going to find. But lucky for me, I still had a little brown but mostly a natural grey color emerged. With that I noticed that I could no longer use my standard shampoo and conditioner because I had a lot of brassiness.So, I started a hunt to find the best shampoo to combat the brass. This set does not disappoint. First off, it’s comes in a really cute cosmetic bag that makes it gift worthy.It produces a nice lather, cleans well and the shampoo/conditioner combo leaves my hair smooth, shiny and brass free.Overall, it’s a nice set and cuts the brass without turning your hair purple. I love it!

I was looking for a replacement purple shampoo and conditioner as the one I used is discontinued. This product leaves my hair looking great

Really pleased to have a shampoo and conditioner that is suitable for sensitive skin and it’s a really deep purple to deal with brass tones . Don’t use it all the time just when my blond goes a bit brassy.

Don't need much when shampooing and conditioning. Hair feels and looks better, considering I have a mix of grey and some hair dye still in parts

Haven’t tried this yet, but it arrived this morning & I suspect it was someone else’s returned item. There was the plastic wire but no tag on the cosmetic bag & when I opened the zip I was covered in the purple shampoo. Strange that the conditioner was in a sealed plastic bag inside but the shampoo wasn’t. Had a big mess to clean up so not pleased. It was reduced price so not worth the trip to return it but very disappointed as this is supposed to be a good brand.

I was a bit worried about using the shampoo and conditioner- would I look like my Mum in the 70s with a purple rinse?? But no, it took out the 'grubby' tone of my naturally white hair and left it gleaming, shiny and pure white. I used it once a week ago haven't needed to repeat it yet. Love it!
