I just received mine yesterday, and the overall seal is sturdy except the bottom part is very thin metal that seems to not match the quality of the top marble part. I really love the color and design the shine as well. However, mine came with a small cosmetic defect on top, in two different spots that is shown in the picture. I think overall the price fits the quality and I know it’s going to be a nice statement piece on my table.

This is a really nice cake stand, however the base is hollow, with sharper edges at the very base. This would definately cause scratches on certain surfaces which is disappointing. I will need to try and attach some kind of felt or pads at the bottom of it to stop that happening, so bit of a nuisance

Absolutely worth the price, arrived in excellent condition, gorgeous, stunning, and it's a bit heavy, nothing cheaply made about this - right now I'm looking for a smaller piece to match this beauty!
