We recently reconfigured a room in our home and removed two small tables along with their lamps then turned it into an art wall. These two lamps placed high on the wall close to the ceiling on either side of a large painting light up the entire wall area.Because these lamps are the same color as the wall they visually disappear and don't detract from the artwork itself.We like them, they perform well for an economical price.

I have ordered three different sets of these lights over a period of time (two white sets and one black), each set used in separate locations. They offer direct lighting exactly where you need it, have long cords with a switch, and offer several ways to install. You can hardwire if you want, but for an ordinary DIYer with average common sense, they can be directly mounted to a surface (such as the wall or a cabinet) by purchasing and using two decorative screws, or you can use a particular type of surface (such as a headboard or wood framing) using the attachment bracket and mounting screws provided. One set of my lights have hidden cords behind a wood frame, so I simply added an additional switch adapter that allows two plug-ins so both lights come on with one touch of the switch. Likewise you could plug both cords into a two-plug timer so you can designate your on/off time.I am not sure if the poor packaging was the result of the retailer, the drop-shipper or Amazon, but my only negative would be that I recommend better packing for shipment.

We got these for our daughters’ room. They each have one by their beds. However, one of my daughters likes to move it to shine in different spots and the light doesn’t seem to work well with that. The size is good and install was pretty simple.

We loved the option of hard-wiring and adding a switch underneath each light in our new lower guest room. My husband is an electrical contractor and said they are decent quality. We did not put dimmers because they are already fairly limited light ( perfect for ambience or reading) due to the solid black shade.

Super easy to put up and it still has a classic finished look.

I've had these for about a year now, and they have been one of the best purchases I made for my gallery wall! I love that I have the option to hard-wire them in if I want, but for now, the plug in works best. Instead of regular bulbs, I use grow-light bulbs and they create the perfect gallery wall and plant area in an otherwise dark room.

I was excited to get these lights for a small indoor garden, but the installation process nearly brought me to tears. I'm not an engineer so I was hoping these lights would come with clear directions for me to follow so I could put them together myself. Unfortunately, the directions were so slim and confusing that I nearly gave up entirely. Eventually my partner and I were able to get them to work, but I had to watch countless YouTube videos to search for hints on how each piece fit into the puzzle. And of course there were pieces left behind and I still have no idea how it all fits together properly. Save yourself the trouble and get some lights that are easy to install and come with legible instructions.

I used a baby grand piano lid to build a headboard for the guestroom bed and decided that the curved away portion needed something for balance. A sconce light would be perfect! We also put one above the desk to provide light without using up valuable space on the small desktop. I bought another set at first, but wasn't impressed. They were flimsy and not easy to adjust. This set is much better, and I really like how classy they look.
