Great little axe, feels good in your hands. The sheath though is not well made. It broke on me just after a few short uses.

Perfect for me with medium sized hands. It went through a small stack of firewood no problem.

This hatchet is a work of art and no slouch when it comes to putting in work in the woods. I'm impressed that Beavercraft can make such a splendid tool at this price point. The head is hand forged and takes a killer edge and holds that edge quite well. I was on the fence about the handle shape, once I got it in hand and started using it for various bushcraft activities it felt natural. I didn't notice any hot spots either. The leather mask and holster are a very nice addition as well. Good craftsmanship on all of the items. My only critique so far would be that the holster is made out of relatively thin leather and isn't the sturdiest but it does get the job done. I would absolutely recommend giving this hatchet a swing!

I purchased this for spoon carving. This is not designed for such. This is just ment for splitting branches and such. It is heavy and not balanced for carving. It will tire your arm after 20 mins. Im thinking of making a new handle to ease some of this. But it did come sharp and holds the edge very well.

Excellent quality. Good value, worth every penny. Weight is excellent. Both the axe and the knife were sharp and very comfortable to use. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great little hatchet once I sharpened it up at "25°" on the Worksharp belt sharpener, it shaves arm hair and push cuts paper now! I feel the edge needed a little thinning since being small you aren't putting the force behind a bigger tool. The steel holds It's edge well and touches up easily. It's a small hatchet, so don't expect it to do large hatchet/axe things very well.

I bought this hatchet more for supporting a Ukrainian business during heart wrenching times. The quality is impeccable it holds an edge very very well. I used it just about daily all summer long then for kindling this winter and I still have not had to sharpen it.the value is second to none light weight and functional with the belt holder and blade sheath.

Die perfekte Balance zwischen Griff und Klinge sorgt für ein komfortables, effizientes und sicheres Arbeiten. Ich persönlich freue mich auch darüber, mit meinen Kauf ein ukrainisches Unternehmen zu unterstützen.
