A coworker gave this to me as a gift. The mildly bold aroma with a hint of sweetness when you open the bag had me anticipating a good cup of coffee. It's hard to explain but it did not smell like acid. Most coffee drinker will know what I mean by that, smiles. As it was brewing the same aroma was enhanced. I literally felt like I was apart of a Pavlovian experiment, smiles. It was like comparing good chocolate to cheap chocolate. This is definitely not in the cheap chocolate category! If you have had chocolate in Europe and then came back to the states and had the same brand, you will know what I mean. At first taste, I was hooked! It was smooth and not bitter. I knew it was good coffee for me when it didn't feel the acid reflux I get after drinking certain coffees and eating some chocolate due to the high acid and caffeine contents.Loved it so much I sent 2 packages as a gift to a friend and ordered more for myself. Every time I drink it is makes me feel as though I am sitting outside at a bistro or cafe somewhere people watching or reading good book. Perfect combination.

Great coffee. Pricey but worth it for me.

Just marvelous, a great departure from the crap we have here (even the the so called high end brands).

This coffee reminded me of our family trip to Norway. Scandinavians not only love their coffee but are very particular about it, and being of Scandinavian descent, I'm picky as well. This coffee is bold but has none of the bitterness you'd expect from a strong coffee. Be warned though - Scandinavian coffees are also higher in caffeine content. Not by an unreasonable amount but after a cup or two you know you had coffee. This has just become my "go to" coffee!

Very smooth, no bitter after taste. Use pre-rinsed brown filters. All paper filters should be pre-rinsed off by you with clean water and left to dry prior to using them. Use your favorite bottled water, slightly chilled not cold or room temp. then use Arvid Norquist Classic Coffee Mellanrost. Oh my goodness, what a lovely cup of coffee.

Smooth...no bite, or bad taste in mouth after drinking even 3 cups! Not sure I would order online again. There are coffees that are just as good available at local stores

I love this coffee and have been buying it here for years. I used to purchase it when I visited Sweden.As for the review by Kr that said it was expired, in most of Europe the dates are DD/MM/YYYY not MM/DD/YYYY like in the US. So, the coffee that they thought expired January 5th actually had an expiration of May 1st which matches the date in the US format they mentioned.
