Not bad for the price
To be frank, I'm not sure why there are so many glowing reviews here, and all this talk about "exceptional quality" etc. This is a decent home set, made in China, built to a price point. They look nice, but the walls are kind of thin, and the plastic handles feel cheap. Non-stick performance is good out of the box, but that fades over time with some cheap sets, so we'll have to see what happens there. To keep them looking nice, you'll want to be careful with the red finish on the outside, as this is not a thick coating and will scratch easily. These may be dishwasher safe, but I'm not taking the chance. If you want a nice set of pots and pans, find a good set from a reputable company. Preferably a company that specializes in kitchen equipment (a look at the SULIVES store suggests they make pots, kid's electric scooters, and massagers). If you're looking for a quick set to replace the pots your ex-roommate took with them when leaving your college apartment, these should do just fine.

Good looking and working set that allow induction, but too thin and easily scratched.
I like this set, for the most part. There is a grey non-stick coating on the pans that looks great against the darkening red coating on the outside. They are lightweight and work with induction, due to a metal ring at the base of the pots and pans. They are not perfect though and their quality doesn't match their asking price. The Sulives Granite Pots and Pans set come with 3 lids (only for the pots), 3 pots (9.5", 7.8" and 6.2") and 2 pans (11" and 8"). They will work up to 350 degrees in the oven. There is a small piece of paper explaining care and usage, but I didn't receive a formal manual in the box. I hand washed the pans with soapy water, dried them and wiped a little oil on the inside, as I do any pans I receive. Then I let them sit for a few hours before using. There are some good points for these pans: the nonstick coating works well and my eggs slid easily with very little butter and they were easy to clean. As well, boiling water showed that the pots heat in a ring at the base and they heated evenly. The lids fit well and the handles are strong and wide on both the lids and pans. Cooking was a great experience with these.Yet, there are some bad points: The paint is easily scratched and the coating isn't very strong. In essence, cooking a ham steak with a bone in one of these and you can scratch up the nonstick coating. They are also very thin, so dropping one can dent and ding it. The handles are big and wide, but are made of a plastic that feels a little cheap.All-in-all, these are good nonstick pans. They are attractive, work well and even do induction, so they may work well for you. Just be very careful with them as they were too easy to scratch, inside and out.

Perfect. Weird smell
I love this non-stick surface! Our teflon pans are over 20 years old, so time for new ones. These are indescribably. The surface is really non-stick. Cleaning is a breeze. The sizes are perfect, but if you have a large family, you will need a couple of big pots as well. The egg pan is just the right size for an omelet; the skillet is the perfect size to saute veggies. And the saucepans are fabulous. These are solid, great heat induction and a LOT lighter weight than our old pans.Definitely worth the money.PLUS - a beautiful red color!Update - there is a weird smell when we use one of the skillets that is quite overpowering. It smells like an electrical fire, like harsh burning ozone. I'm not really sure what to do with that...

Exceptional in every way!
My Son is setting up an apartment and I thought I was buying him a "Starter Set" of pots and pans but when these arrived, they are awesome!First, they are really pretty to look at because the finish is really amazing! They are super sturdy and the bottoms are multiply, so they are not likely to warp if treated right.Second, the lids are really excellent for this price point! I am really really please with them because they are usually kind of crappy at this price point.Third, they are really really nice on the interior because it is a "Stone Style" and when they say non-stick, they mean it!For this price or even twice the price, you really cannot beat it!

Great for eggs, not so great for searing meats
This is a great set of every day pots and pans that are sturdy but fairly light in weight. The granite coating in the pots and pans does a remarkable job of preventing anything from sticking. We've used them for just about everything and find that both the interior and exterior hold up well to every day usage. I love that the red outside color stays true, and even when something is spilled on the outside edge while cooking, it doesn't burn on and stain, but wipes off just as easily as the inside. The frying pan is perfect for eggs--fried, scrambled, omelettes, ets. They don't need much by way of fat and they won't stick or burn. A drawback to this, though, is you also cannot get a good sear on meat. The granite heats up nicely, but when we tried to pan fry a steak, it seemed almost steamed rather than fried. I had to pull out the good old cast iron for searing.

my new favorite pots and pans
not only are these pots and pans beautiful, they cook well. I am love them. They do need to be cured per manufactures instructions, which is super simple to do (wash and oil them, i put them on low heat just so the oil would soak into the porous material) once i cleaned and cured them, i made omelets with cheese.. the eggs nor the cheese stuck to the pan. If you have ever cooked one, you know that is a feat in of itself, the cheese always sticks and is a bear to get off the pan. they are very pretty, i chose the red ones, and are a happy addition to my cooking supplies.
