Works great.
I’ve only had one other grinder in my whole life. The first one I had was a Braun. It lasted about 15 years but finally gave out. I couldn’t find anything in the same brand that appealed to me so I settled on this one. This one is super good. I like everything about it. You can even wind the cord up on the bottom. It’s not too loud and grinds perfectly. I hope it keeps it up.

Very good grinder
Very good, has two grinding bowls. It too leaks a little as it grinds but not as much as the last one and overall it's worth the cost as I grind dried herbs, seeds, roasted cacao beans, dried banana peels (plant food) so I really work my grinder with a variety of tasks. Haven't tried anything wet yet. It is finicky about locking. You lock the grinding bowl then the plastic lid. My lid can come loose easily and it stops. But I have old hands so it might be a me problem not a design problem.

You're going to LOVE the detachable bowl
Had to replace my last coffee grinder because ... kids. Originally, I was going to purchase the $17-19 one similar to my last, but was intrigued by the removable grinder bowl. I will never go back to the fully integrated units again. You can properly clean the bowl which you simply cannot do with the integrated units. Yes, you can wipe them out with a damp cloth, but how many years of damp cloth residue are in every cup of coffee? This unit comes with 2 detachable bowls: one meant for hard items such as coffee beans, dried spices, etc; one meant for softer/fresher items such as fresh herbs like coriander, parsley, etc as well as oils and vinegar. The primary difference is 1 blade as opposed to 2 blades, respectively. Both bowls are stainless steel. There is a small plastic gasket at the bottom of each bowl, so there is potentially chance of odour retention; however, having separate bowls helps reduce that chance. So far, I've used them to make coffee, ground nuts, flax seeds, cinnamon, and a vinaigrette. Both bowls have their own dedicated lid. The lids don't seal very well, but they're meant to store the chopped food for long periods. The lids have a silicone ring around the top to prevent leaks, etc. One could make a basic vinaigrette, store it with the lid for tea, then manually shake it up at the table without worrying about leaks. The primary/safety lid -- separate from the bowl lids -- also has a silicone ring around the inner-top to prevent bits from flying out of the bowl whilst the unit is in use. There is a safety catch which requires that lid to be in place for the grinder to function. To be fair, keeping that silicone ring clean could lead to a headache years down the road, but I'll remain optimistic. If I were to nitpik, the only complaint would be finding the exact point where the lid slides into the safety catch can be fiddly. There are no fancy timers or lights to hint at grind size; however, you can see everything through the lid, so not a worry. Also, the blade stops within 1 second after releasing the grind button. My last one took 2-3 seconds, so there's another win in my book. It also comes with a small brush which I'll probably lose in a couple weeks. Manufacturer notes do state not use it for extended periods as the motor can get hot. After grinding beans for a 12-cup brew, I did notice the bottom of the bowl feeling quite warm so important to note.As for ease of cleaning, this is a 100% win; as for usability due to 2 separate bowls, yet another 100% win; functionality has given me zero issues thus far, so 100% win. When mine arrived, one of the lid gaskets had a slight tear/cut in it. I reached out to Cosori with a pic, and they immediately sent me a replacement gasket. No headache, no fuss, no jumping through hoops. Customer Service gets another 100% win. Please please please give this a try if you're looking for an inexpensive coffee grinder. You'll be impressed.

Great grinder, lid breaks easily
Love this grinder, other than (you saw that coming) the plastic lid.I just got my third one, and all because the lid breaks VERY easily. The first time, it cracked when screwing it into the bowl and thus the grinder no longer worked. The second time, I dropped it (3 inches onto the countertop) and a large piece broke off, rendering the grinder non-functional.So while it's a great grinder, be VERY careful handling the plastic top. When screwing it in, DON'T apply too much force; just enough to lock it in. And don't drop it!

Waste product
It’s not good at all. when I used it for first time it’s started and than it stopped and never worked. I tried it several times than I sent it beck. It’s not a good product for spices. So don’t buy it.

I love the removable cups...
This is a great grinder kit. It's a typical coffee grinder that comes with two separate cups. One of the cops has two blades in the other has four. This gives you the option of changing the type of material you're going to grind. I bought this grinder specifically for herbs and spices. One of the main selling points for me was the fact that the grinder cups are removable. This allows me to easily empty the contents as well as thoroughly clean the cups before their next use. The kit also includes lids for the grinder cups so if you don't use all of the ground product you can seal the cup and put it aside. The kit even includes an extra gasket. This was an excellent purchase. The grinder is strong and I've had no issues with any materials I've tried to grind. The stainless steel Cups have been easy to clean. And all of the covers and Lids seat firmly and securely as to not leak. I strongly recommend this product.

This is really the best.
We are using in our kitchen almost everyday to grind fresh pickles of tomato and mint and cilantro. We grind the ground cumin and other asian spices. It is perfect. I use this for making a small cup of smoothie almost every morning. It's perfect for everything I did.

Great product!
This is an excellent coffee or spice grinder especially for the price but the lid is a little finicky which is why I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5

Garbage product. Do not buy
Purchased it for grinding needs. It shuts off within 30 seconds and if put throug couple sessions, will get hot and would not work for an hour or two till it gets cooled. Grinding is uesless as well as i have to do bursts and keep on using a fork or spoon to stir from bottom.Reached out to COSORI support. they asked for details, sent, then they ask for pics sent. Then they were asking for a video. This was enough and I threw it in garbage and let the claim be as it was going nowhere.
