I borrowed this book from the library and immediately fell in love with it. I’m not the most organized person, and there are so many ideas to help keep me organized. I love to cook. I have at least a dozen bottles of spices in a lazy Susan. I’ll look to see if I ran out of a specific spice, and inevitably I’ll end up with two ( or three). The book suggested to buy three cheap aluminum or plastic wrap boxes, cover them to look nice and make steps along the back of a shelf so you can line the spices up in 3 or more rows and see ALL the labels. What a great idea. There are pics of most of their ideas, which helps a lot. Love this book. I just moved and can’t wait to crack open the book once again ( when I can find it)!!!

I've read other reviews and guess it depends on what you're looking for. I love reading magazines, and this book is like a compilation of great tips and tricks for the home. The photos are lovely and act as a "supplement" to the text on each page, so there is a lot of information, even if the book itself isn't huge. If you use the preview feature in Amazon to take a look at the first pages of the book, that will give you a good sense of what you will be getting.

Concise clutter free ideas with no nonsense jabbing. Many books over complicate whatever it is they are trying to say.I love this books simplicity and even though I know most of what's in it, it has given a couple of ideas.

I love that all the testing and recommending of products, where to keep them, and how often to clean is in one small, pucture-filled book!Save your $ on a housekeeper and get this book instead!Bravo!

Lots of good, easy to follow tips for general house cleaning and organizing.

Great book however smaller than expected. Was going to use it as a coffee table book but it's not that kind of book.

It was nothing I did not already know expected more from good housekeeping

The book is alright but offers more to US customers I think, as product recommendations largely aim at that audience. Besides that, it's a nice, informative book and has lots of tips. Just not that great if you're living in the UK.On that note, I returned it for that reason, and the seller, World of Books promptly refunded me, so I'd highly recommend them.
