FisslerOriginal-Profi Collection 2019 Stainless Steel Steamer Insert 9.5"

This insert fits snugly into companion Fissler 9-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set that we bought for induction cooking. We are totally sold on Fissler because it handles induction cooking better than any other brand we tried (though we did keep a lighter weight 11.5 inch saute pan from Williams Sonoma). We bought the set with glass lids directly from Fissler (not available from Amazon at the time). Highly recommend the glass lid version - easy to clean, snug-fitting seal, can easily check on cooking status ). Love the nesting insert. We put veggies in the top over a pot of potatoes in the nesting saucepan - freeing up another burner.

And the Fissler Profi series works well on all types of stoves (we chose it for use on induction).

I was not disappointed with Fissler bc it's worth the money. I am pleased with the quality of this item. I use the steamer to cook veggies, potatoes and fish. Since I don't fry nor use oil it's very healthy for my diet.

Compared to what I was using before, it is like day and night or more like night and day!

Fissler is simply the best, the quality just towers above the competition. This steamer is no exception. It's only 20cm but there's loads of room inside. The Fissler lid from my Profi pan provides the perfect seal with no steam escaping at all. Food is cooked to perfection in no time. This device saves money & space on the hob too.Thank you Fissler

Kaufdatum: 30.01.18 von AmazonIch habe mir zu Weihnachten eine Induktionsplatte geschenkt. In Folge mussten auch neue Töpfe her. Passenderweise gab es Mitte Januar viele Rabattaktionen. Und bei Kaufhof gab es für die von mir favorisierte Fisseler Profi-Collection ein super Angebot für 4 Töpfe mit Glaseckel + Dämpfeinsatz und Sauteuse. Das habe ich leider um einen Tag verpasst :). Also habe ich 4 Töpfe einzeln gekauft (die gab es noch reduziert). Und die Sauteuse und den Dämpfeinsatz auf meine "Suchliste" gesetzt.Zum Monatsende hatte dann Amazon für den Dämpfeinsatz "mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern" im Angebot. Den habe ich bestellt.--------------------------07.02.18: 5 Sternepositiv:+ Ich habe keine Schönheits- oder sonstige Fehler festgestellt.Keine Kratzer, keine Dellen, die Griffe sind fest+ Der Einsatz passt gut auf den Topf.Er passt genau so, wie auch andere Einsätze auf Töpfe passen. Ich habe es in zwei Geschäften mit den Ausstellungsstücken "getestet."neutral:* Der Einsatz ist wohl ein Rückläufer. Er wurde vermutlich auch benutzt.* Als erste Nutzung bei mir sind in ihm ein kleiner Blumenkohl und Karotten gegahrt worden.Und die Kartoffeln dazu direkt im Wasser des Topfes unter dem Einsatz. This steamer fits my Fissler pan, and vegetables like carrots are cooked in a few minutes. I cook potatoes or past in the pan while the vegetables steam above. A great way to save fuel.

Ich hab mir extra den großen Dampfeinsatz für die 24cm Töpfe geholt, damit ich größere Mengen Kartoffeln, ganze Fische, oder Germknödel dampfgaren kann. Die Verarbeitung ist wie bei allen anderen Artikeln der Profi Collection tadellos, das Design stimmig, die Funktion natürlich mehr als zufriedenstellend. Der Dampfeinsatz ist für mich unentbehrlich - zum Beispiel auch, wenn ich platzsparend kochen muss: Dann habe ich gerne unten die Kartoffeln im Topf und oben Gemüse im Dampfeinsatz - wird beides gleichmäßig schnell und gut fertig - genial. Ich spare Energie, wenn ich unten Reis koche und gleichzeitig oben Gemüse dämpfe, oder Fisch, oder Fleisch. Das Fleisch gibt Würze in den Reis ab und aromatisiert ihn dadurch. Couscous kann man ebenso gut herstellen.Ich bin lange um diesen Dampfeinsatz herumgeschlichen, weil er auch nicht gerade billig ist. Ich hatte aber Glück und habe ihn über einen "Warehouse" Deal günstiger erhalten. Da fiel mir das Zugreifen leichter. Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung!
