It is not as thick as I thought but it does its job of protecting the grill. The material is not totally plastic like the poncho material, but there are some thread embedded in the plastic fabric. If you are not looking for $50 grill cover but a budget one to cover your grill to protect it from rain, it does a good job doing that with budget in mind.The reason for taking a star is because I do not honestly think that it will last more than a year. The sun and rain and snow will probably make this brittle and prone to rips and holes due to the fabric being too thin.Update: after using for a year. I can tell you two things. This cover is not really water proof. When I took the cover off this spring to use my charcoal grill, I smelled a strong stench from my grill. It was filled is rotten water! I spent hours cleaning the mold and fungus growing and sanitixed it by buring a large mound of charcoal. And all the sunlight and wind has faded the fabric to a point that the fabric is disintegrating. It did not last a year. Bot worth your money. I am going to buy something that is heavy duty.

This picture of it is after being outside for 6 months. Doesn;t even have a tear in it, and it has rained and snowed on it many times. It fits really nice, the shape is exactly what i was looking for. In my picture the wind just blew off a section of it over the propane, but we just had a massive windstorm yesterday. Once I adjust it, it will be good. I will buy this exact same one again the next time i need a grill cover.

Not easy to attach tightly. Would work better if it had strings on it instead of velcro. Enough for this price.

I used this item for my large charcoal grill. It covers it entirely and it's waterproof. This is nice since my grill stays in the back yard. Great buy.

Excellent product. Water beeds right off and its well made.

What to say. I replace these every year or so, when weathered & torn (by animals jumping on grill.) Works as designed. Less expensive than fancy covers & don't want to be replacing expensive cover often.
