These eye glass holders are the the best. I'll never buy the slip knot kind again. These may cost a bit more but they should last forever.

I'm nearsighted, so I must wear corrective lenses to drive or see anything at a distance clearly. These eye-wear retainers are well designed. they maintain a good strong grip on the end of my glasses frames--great for windy days. And I especially like the numerous color choices this company offers. The woodland camo colors are a great addition in my bug-out bag.After all, in the event of a prolonged emergency scenario, the last thing you wanna lose are your prescription glasses.

Nice looking. Obviously well made. The price was right. The cordage is a little stiff and kinks and becomes knotted. That may result from the way I twist and turn - and is perhaps not the fault of the cordage. But I suspect that if the cordage were a little limper that kinks would shake out more easily. I am using these Chums with drugstore reading glasses - Magnavision to be exact. The glasses' ear-pieces are thin and the little rubber gismeroid whatchacallit on the bitter ends of the Chums which slip over the ear-pieces tend to slide off. This tendency to slide off gets worse as hair oil builds up and makes things more slippery (ugh). I guess I better order some Head & Shoulders - from Amazon of course. Mr. Bezos will need a set of Chums Eyewear retainers when he takes up his new role as Editor at the Washington Post.

This was purchased for my 6 year old grandson who has just started soccer, and his momma slipped these on his eyeglasses prior to the very first practice. This eyewear retainer kept his eyeglasses in place throughout a practice complete with running drills, stealing balls, kicking and being kicked! The "only" caveat was that momma wasn't sure what to do with the "tail" remaining on the back of his head. Rather than tempting fate (and another 6 year old who might find it fun to yank on said tail), momma tucked it up under the snug fitting portion, and away he ran. Per my Jammin', it was comfortable and he liked it! So there you have it!

Bought this because I knew I was going to drink all day at a theme park. Best eyeglass retainers on market. One problem, thus the missing star. The rubber tips that fits over the temple stretches with time, and after a couple of months the retainer's cord slips off continually. Otherwise work very well, just be aware that they need to be replaced every three or four months if used regularly.

I use this for my readers when I wear a shirt without a pocket. It holds the readers securely enough but the rope runs along my cheeks and is sometimes distracting.I will continue you to use them, but my next retainer will attach at the ends of the temple pieces so it will hang behind my ears. I recommend these with my personal opinion on rope position.
