This retinol is perfect for sensitive skin. I have been using retinol for 10 years. I have used Dr. Obagi 1.0, Avene 1.0, and Olay. Olay retinol does fine, but even as long as I have used Retinol, my skin will not tolerate 1.0 in any brand. This Avene .5 reinaldehyde works great. And the container empties out Completely. When my previous container ran out, I dropped it and the bottom popped off. It was COMPLETELY empty. It has a very reliable delivery system. Great Product. Just ordered a new one.

The pictures are before and after 30 days. I have very sensitive skin to the point water can be too much. I promise I don't have a sun burn in the first picture. I was just always suffering from really bad skin inflammation. I decided to take a chance at another skin routine as I normally just use water as anything else would result in a chemical burn effect and leave dry inflamed blisters. This with my gentle niacinamide face wash and the avene heavy face moisturizer have done wonders I feel like I have my skin back.

I use one pump of this product nightly on my aging neck ( I’m 51) It’s very drying and a bit irritating so following up with a good moisturizer. Make sure to wear sunscreen daily as it makes your skin more photosensitive. This product is the most expensive product in my skincare regimen and I’m not sure if I will purchase it again. Seems like just using Prescription retin A instead would give me similar results and a fraction of the cost. The deep crease on my neck is more pronounced after using this product due to irritation.
