The heating element worked fine for our Whirlpool dishwasher. I gave it a middle rating on "ease of installation" only because in most cases you will have to completely drain and unhook the dishwasher to service it. I had to tip mine on it's back. Be aware that there are hidden pockets of water inside that will splash and leak out at the most inopportune moments, such as when your mate walks in and asks how long it's going to be! Overall, it was fairly smooth. It didn't seem to work at first but a quick look on youtube showed that on most modern washers there is a reset procedure. After that it worked fine, and it's been a couple of months now. I did have to bend it slightly to align the holes but that was no issue. Good luck!

The title says it all. It fits my Whirlpool (WDF130PAHS) just right. It comes with the nuts and rubber washers.I've been using my dishwasher everyday for over a week now and the bottom is not melted. I was a bit concerned when I bought this heating elements since all other elements I looked at seemed to have reviews from customers complaining about this issue. This one works as intended and has not damaged the bottom of my dishwasher.I don't know how long it will last but it surely can't be any worse than the original element that broke after one year... I'll update this review if this one goes out unreasonably quickly.

So far so good. Works well, the nuts were included and the size of the element ends was appropriate for the holes of my Whirlpool quiet partner I. I had to run a diagnostics cycle of the dishwasher to reset it and get the heating element to heat up, instructions are easily found on google. I never use the "heated dry" function of the dishwasher, so I cannot say if the element heating without any water inside will have any negative effect on the plastic material of the dishwasher.

We purchased this part to replace the original part in our dishwasher and although it was fairly simple to replace we found that it doesn’t heat to the original temperature within the dishwasher. The washer heats to a certain point but it is not enough to create steam. This is an important part of the dishwashing cycle. It also causes you to have to hand dry your dishes after every load. Bummer.

The new element basically fits but the holes are slightly smaller than the threads on the new element. I had to use a drill to open the holes a bit but the new element has better threads, nuts and washers making for a good seal. Seemed to solve the problem of the dishes not drying well.

The product is poorly packed. Never worked from day one . You read the reviews before you buy . But you get your product it is a junk that doesn’t work. You pay someone to install it. I’m really hesitant on Amazon be I’ve been burned with so many product. Stay away from this product
