Great USA made tool but not worth the current price ($95+)
I'm giving this 5 stars because it met my use case perfectly. For the average person I would not rate it the same.First off let me just say I needed a utility knife that was ultra minimalist but yet sturdy. I was using another one who recently finished a kickstarter but now is also on amazon. I won't mention the name but I think it would be a far better proposition in terms of value for most. It was just a bit longer and twice as thick as this and I needed it to be smaller. Now the elephant in the room. Unless you need the absolute thinnest and most compact utility knife possible without sacrificing strength then yes this (titanium version) is pretty much the only option. Otherwise, i don't think anyone should pay nearly $100 for this its just not worth it. There are quite a few others on amazon that are still quite thin, titanium and far far less (>$40).That's really it. If you are one of the few (>1%) of people who see this and truly need the ultra minimalist utility knife or money is no object, your search is over. It was designed to be this way and succeeded 95%. If it hadn't have put the arrow point on the knife end it would be 100% but i guess it is this way being aircraft inspired. Other than that i don't think there is much more you could take away from this without sacrificing structural integrity. The slide mechanism I doubt is original. Can't say for sure who did it first but there are plenty of utility knives with sort of slide it's just the detent part is usually hidden away. Also I saw a lot of people saying it was hard to extract the blades. I watched the included video prior to receiving it and I was able to do it successfully on the first try. It's much easier that I expected. I haven't had it long so I can't really say if it dulls the blade as some others mention but, I did look down the slide and at least in my example I could see a very small space between the blade and the bottom rail so on mine I dont believe that's going to be an issue.A couple last points before I sum up I will say the pocket clip was also quite well engineered. It's functionally great without being so substantial it gets in the way if you don't need it. I'm actually most impressed with this. Also, I HIGHLY appreciate and respect it being made in the USA, which HIGHLY influenced my decision to purchase this.So to wrap up my essay. It's not worth the asking price...it's just not. However, if this is the form factor you must have then this is basically the best (only) option. It is a good tool and based on my example of it, it's not deserving of most of the other negative complaints.

this is my ONLY Ultimate EDC tool, 24X7 with Me even when i sleep
first of all, this Item is extremely lightweight and Useful in my Daily, the other amazing part is which is too tiny to notice. I tried millions of EDC tools. This is final ultimate EDC tool I kept at the end. I am very Happy to carry it every day since i got it 3 months ago. i can feel i will continue the amazing relationship with it🥰

Poor QC, worse design
First one I got, the bronze slider was heavily marred and had a crack or deformity. The replacement was even more marred and had a crack or deformity. The blade also rides way too tightly on the bottom channel, so it dulls almost immediately. Poor design, poor manufacturing, poor QC. Skip this company and go elsewhere.

I like the elegant style of the project.
The advantages of this project are:Beautiful design, compact, lightweight and convenient. The disadvantages of this project are:The price is high and the store doesn't even give away a key ring and spare blades: there's only one item in the box.The blade, although labeled Made in the USA: is slightly rough and not too sharp.

Unfortunately it dulls the blade.
I really wanted to like this little pocket utility blade; it was exactly what I was looking for, except for the small issue of it dulling blade within a few deployments. The pic I attached shows the blade's position when the blade is being deployed/retracted. As you can see it angles the blade enough to make it dull as it's being opened. I do like the build quality, minimalist in design, and being able to quickly swap standard utility blades is great, but the exorbitant cost (shouldn't be anymore than $50-60) for such a minimalist blade and the fact the design dulls blade take major points away from an otherwise great utility knife. I also don't like the fact there isn't a place to put a lanyard (you see pics of other people's blades with lanyard, but you'd literally have to remove the lanyard to remove the blade (as it slides out the back), so this obviously isn't an option. I will stick with my Big Idea Design TPT slide.
