EXCELLENT PRODUCT at a GOOD PRICE
With my age catching up to me, this cane is helpful. Not only is the shaft a sturdy hardwood, but the derby handle makes it ideal for self-defense (if it doesn't pull off). The pointed end of the handle is more effective for striking than just the shaft, and the hooked end for catching an assailant's leg behind the knee or elsewhere., to trip or throw the attacker off balance. There are videos on line and using a cane for protection. There are more ways than just using it as a bat!

This cane wasn't really what I thought it would look like. I guess I kinda thought it looked more twisty in the picture. But after a while it has grown on me. And I see the twisted look when looking down the cane not straight at it. This is a great looking and very sturdy cane. Can fully support me. 240lbs

Brazos walking cane
I had been viewing the Brazos walking cane website an number of times after learning I would probably require the use of a cane to assist my ambulation because of my mobility issues. I saw the oak cane on the Amazon website and liked the price the first time I saw it. I was distracted, which was to my benefit, as when I returned to view a second time, I had accumulated enough credit from previous purchases that my final cost for the cane was only 12 dollars and change!I did buy a used Brazos cane which had a wood chip missing from the top-back of the grip, and noted the Brazos cane from Amazon had the same location damage but was filled and stained before I received it (probably an in-factory damage). I love both canes and used them regularly.
