I live in So. Cal. These work good on a sunny day, but if I lived where it wasn't sunny most of the time, I wouldn't buy them. On a cloudy day, they stay on for about 3 hours. (sunny days, they stay on for 8-10 hours) FYI: The total length from the first light to the last light is about 15 feet. The rest of the length is wire only, so you can put the solar panel where you have to.

Waste of money:::: it did not work as per advertisement.... it was more of an embarrassment for me. I wasted my time and energy to put this and all the solar lights that I purchased and put up. They worked for two nights then stop no matter what I did to help after researching how to it better. And yes they was pointed to the sun. I wish I never purchase them and I lost all my money.

maybe I did not read the reviews well but are so much bigger than expected. I wanted lights 1/4" or less these are 1-1.25" or even a little larger. I assume they work fine they are the standard decorative lights with a battery.

I love these! Beautiful and easy. Stick the solar in the ground or on a tree limb to face the sun and hang the lights. Great for potted plants on a patio or in a tree. I use them year round and will buy a few more. Great buy!

Cool lights for railings or short eave. Different settings and solar are what I was looking for and these fit that description

One works half of the time, the other works well. It is a very dim light. I like the shape of the lights. Would prefer something brighter.

It takes awhile for them to charge from the sun initially but afterwards it gives a good bright display at night.

These are perfect, saves on my electric bill by using solar, and the glow they give off is so very pretty!
