Noise supprestion
Does a decent job of noise suppression and if one doesn't do it a one or two more.

Fixed my speaker hum due to unshielded cabling
I have some wall mounted speakers connected via unshielded cabling run through the wall. Replacing the cable wasn’t really feasible so I bought these hoping it might help.I was pleasantly surprised that these effectively eliminated all the hum and saved my speaker setup! This isn’t going to solve all problems with perceived hum, but in my case it was exactly what I needed to effectively shield my speakers from the electromagnetic interference from adjacent electrical cabling.

Too small for cat5e cable
I tried these on cat5e cables, and just a bit too small. The little prongs that stick out the ferrites appear to be the problem. I think the round part diameter is sufficient. These are supposed to be 5mm and I had measured my ethernet cable diameter at about 4.7mm, so they should have fit. These are small measurement amounts, so I'm hesitant to fault the product too much...otherwise they seem fine and I'll keep them around for smaller cables that might need them.

As described
As described fit good, I’m sure they do the job

Good for RG8U coax
I've slung a number of these fighting RFI. Instead I ended up with a 1:1 balun that worked better. But these are good.

These did virtually nothing for choking common-mode HF frequencies, but see review for likely cause.
I was hoping to use these on ~9mm cat7 cable to choke some PoE noise that my cameras spew from around 10-20MHz.3 of these in a row on 9mm cable, right at the camera basically did nothing for my problem (since that's essentially just 3 turns, and would be around 240 ohms @ 25MHz, according to their specs), whereas 8 turns on a big ft240-43 donut works great. I just can't fit that big FT240 toroid back up through the cable hole in my situation.I was trying not to have to go winding big chokes in the attic, but I guess that's my next option. These are probably much more effective on smaller wire that you can achieve a few turns with, but I cannot attest to that. For the price, they were worth a try, and I'm sure I'll find something to use them on.

Helps get rid of RFI on my ham radio
I installed these on wires on my truck to help get rid of RFI. They have helped and are easy to install and remove.
