Aviation Maintenance Technician Oral & Practical Exam Guide (Oral Exam Guide series) Third Edition

This book is meant to guide the future AMT technician. It won’t have word for word what will be on your Os and Ps (Oral and Practical) but there’s nothing in this book that a DME won’t test you on. They will only test you on material shown in this book. Similar material to what is shown in the book as well. I highly recommend this for students who are close to obtaining their A&P certification. The Dale Crane Book was very informative and relatable to the O&P exam that I took. After going over the book numerous time, I was well prepared and was able to apply the Q & A’s that I studied when I took the exam

I liked that the book is quite thorough with explaining to me where I should focus my studies in each section of general, powerplant and airframe. It also advises me on additional preparation routes, such as acquiring practice test questions.

This is necessary for anyone getting ready to test for their A&P! If you have someone ask you these questions out loud and you answer them all, you will have a very easy time passing the oral portion of the test. Some questions repeat, but almost all these questions are word for word what you will be asked during the test. Good luck!

Read the general and Airframe 2-3 times and passed my exams. The test questions come from this book. Study this, your FARs, and AC43-13 to help you prep for testing.

Seemed to do the trick, I used flashcards and kind of abbreviated their answers. But most of them seemed prevalent when I took my exam.
