Beautiful shoe. Not the highest grade of leather but excellent for the price. Not a single visible defect, comparable to a shoe twice the price. They came a little narrow, but broke in beautifully.EDIT: Buying my second pair 4 years later. I absolutely loved my first pair and they are actually still going strong 4 years later with fairly regular use. I do condition and polish them weekly, so that probably helps. The first soles gave out after about a year, but my local cobbler was happy to blakestitch a new sole for me with a rubber protector that has not required replacement still.I disagree with my first review: the leather IS of high quality, they have just applied a bit of a cheap finish to it. I spilt a drink on it the first year i had it. i ended up stripping it down with acetone and putting my own waxes and creams on it. i am 99% sure this is a full grain leather. After this, the leather has taken on a beautiful patina and feels so much more rich.My second pair has been just as good as the first. I am planning to strip this finish down and add a burgundy finish to it. Will get it resoled after about a year.FYI: the shoe is made in india. which isnt usa or europe... but not china either. it is definitely put together by someone who knows what they are doing. no stray threads or obvious defects in sight.

These shoes are the style I was looking for, very clean and understated; they are well-made, with quality stitching and materials. The only thing is that they fit a bit big - even when compared to the same size Cole Haan dress shoes in a different style (double monk); I could easily - and more comfortably wear a size 8 in this style. FYI: I typically wear size 8.5 in Cole Haan dress shoes, Joseph Seibel casual shoes, and Nike and ASICS athletic shoes.

Shoes look great and fit well, but sole has started to wear out and come apart after only a few months. It's a very stiff shoe and takes quite a while to break in. I expected these shoes to be much more durable for the price. I only use them to walk a short distance from my car to the office and it's disappointing that they are wearing out so quickly.

I love, love, love these shoes. Bought them for my husband and they are absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful leather, the perfect color to go with pretty much any suit. Great value as well. Highly recommend these.

No lo recomiendo para personas con empeine alto. Muy bonitos pero son muy estrechos. A mi marido ni siquiera le entraron por el empeine y supuestamente eran de su talla.
