This item had very little use, but now has a cracked metal ring around the wire base. I am very disappointed regarding Kirchenaid, which I had regarded as a premium/professionally used brand in the culinary profession, particularly their iconic mixers. I believe the ring split is a result of a manufacturing defect, where the ring suffered from excessive tension during the manufacturing process, and over time, it split. The result is a sharp metal part standing proud of the handle that could cut your hand

Stabiler, hochwertiger Schneebesen der (bisher) auch lange hält. Ich backe gerne und verwende häufig den Schneebesen statt einer Küchenmaschine, daher war mir die Stabilität am wichtigsten. Zb für festere Teige wie Brownies funktioniert er super, nichts verbiegt oder ähnliches. Klar ist er etwas teuer, aber das ist halt der Markenname und auch die Hochwertigkeit.
