This tops my expectations. Very good quality, i like it. Will not be using it as a sitting stool so cant comment on how sturdy it is but for me it will be used as decoration/foot stool only, for which i am sure it is more than suitable. Happy with the purchase.

The ottoman came folded with a bottom insert. Once unfolded and the insert is in, it's really sturdy.I bought the "15" black faux leather" one for about $13 including tax and I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of this item! I like that the top is tufted, and that makes it look expensive. The padding on the top makes it comfortable to sit on, or to rest your feet on, when used as an ottoman.It is hollow so it can be used as a storage box, and that, I think, makes it more stable.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

I bought this to serve as foot stool in front of the sofa. It work well and sturdy. it has a storage compartment which is a bonus. easy to assemble. will recommend to other.

We have four of these and they are excellent for both storage placing things on top like a random plant or using as a footstool or for a cat or small dog to jump up on

I was looking around for an ottoman for a bit now. My cat loves to sit beside me when I'm on the couch, or even at the kitchen table, but can't when I'm surfing the net. The fact that I can store a bunch of stuff within it is a bonus. I've sat on it at times when I was redoing the wiring behind my computer desk so it is strong enough for me to sit there, so it will also be strong enough for a foot rest.Definitely recommend.
