4 of the 5 1/4" NPT nipples appear to have been properly manufactured.One needed to be reamed to remove material not removed at the factory.I purchased these nipples to use with tractor hydraulic lines and will probably not use the factory defective one.

Nice clean shiny stainless with very little to no debris in the threads. This is critical in assuring a tight fit with no leaks. No complaints here!
