I have purchased this item multiple times. Consistent quality and packaging. I do see rib meat was added recently. I do not believe that was added a few years ago. Otherwise, good tasting chicken and I stir in the chicken juice as well.

Hard to find the no-sodium version in stores.

This is a first for me, canned roasted chicken. It's very good directly out of the can. It tastes like I cooked it myself and that surprised me, minus the seasoning's I use on my baked roasted chicken breast. I got the no sodium one of this version also (no sodium foods I prefer). This is very good and has a great taste. It would be good for quick bite and to add to another dish like salad, quinoa, cucumber or just out of the can. This is a very good product I highly recommend it.

I feed this to my two dogs each meal. Everything about it is pretty fantastic except that I cut my thumb on the lid and I know that I risk cutting it every time I open one. I was even telling myself don’t cut your thumb, don’t cut your thumb and bam … thump sliced. The issue is that the lid is the pull tab type and it is really firmly attached to the can and is extremely sharp once you pull it up. I have to pull so hard to get it off that the whole thing goes flying and it’s just a messy, dangerous situation for me. I am a woman and have hand strength that is neither strong nor weak but I would think about average. I now pull the lid up as far as I can and then I very carefully scoop everything out and put it into a glass storage bowl with a lid. So again the product itself is great but please don’t give this to anyone who might accidentally really slice their hand when trying to pull the lid off.

Yum. Great with chopped grapes, mayo, chopped cashews, a little minced onion, salt, pepper, what seasoning were in the mood for, yum.

Canned chicken had been an emergency staple till now. This is delicious, tastes fresh and no sodium etc., just excellent quality chicken. The tuna is also great. This can be used for anything, cold out of the can or cooked.

My husband bought this and loves it. I mistook the cans for tuna one day and he advised that it was not tuna, but was chicken… for quesadillas. Yes. He has decided that this canned chicken would be great on quesadillas. Now I’ve made chicken quesadillas before, but never in my life did I consider using canned chicken. But apparently my Michigander husband has. Whenever I make quesadillas for the family- a quick meal- he wants to know if I put this chicken in it. Nope. Using canned chicken for quesadillas just won’t come to my mind for some reason. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not above canned chicken and when I make quesadillas, I assure you, there is nothing gourmet about them. But he remembers and desires this chicken on them and I just can’t. So anyway, we aren’t going to separate over the issue or anything. He’ll just be continually disappointed in my quesadillas.
