Mix this product with water before adding to other mixtures. I have added beef gelatin to both my soups and yogurts. This product claims to be unflavored but is definitely flavored. The first time I use this product i added it to my raspberry coconut yogurt, big mistake it was very bad. I stopped using it because I thought it was absolutely disgusting. After about two weeks or so I decided to use it again but this time I added it to my soup. It was very good in the soup but it did clump up in the soup when directly added the way cornstarch or flour would. My suggestion before adding it soups or stews is to mix the gelatin with a bit of water then add it. Overall it is a very good product when you know how to use it properly and has a great way to get collagen into your diet. I’m giving it four stars because it taste good and it’s easy to use. The reason I will not give it five stars is because it is not versatile I cannot add this to smoothies or my yogurts, it can’t be used as an every day item.

I tried thickening a gravy with this and in never thickened while warm. When I put it in the fridge it became a hard gummy bear but the moment I warmed it up it became pure liquid again. How can other people say it thickens well for cooking and I can’t get it to thicken anything warm or hot just cold.

The gelatin itself was great. The bag the gelatin was in had a huge thumb sized while in it and the plastic sealed bag it was in was torn so gelatin was all over everything else in the box as is my floor

This works perfectly for making the keto gummy bears I like to make.
