Exactly what I wanted. It's very well made and adds a nice extra cushion to the floor. It can be slippery with socks so be mindful if you have wild kids. It does add a cozy vibe to a room or a floor. I put it in a room with carpeting. I love the color and feel of it, very smooth.

I bought four of these for my place, all brown, and one of them is a different shade of brown than the other 3. Other than that they are comfortable, portable, and look nice. Still really confused as to why one of my mats is lighter than the other ones.

The product was a gift for my son-law. He indicated he liked it very much and would definitely use it. He wanted to have once ever since he lived in Japan. He indicated it look somewhat like the tatami mats on the floor in the house he stay firings his 5 years in Japan. I am happy that he like the gift.

It is a nice rug carpet but wasn’t what I was looking for for a baby but other than that great nice work super cushiony

I recently purchased a Tatami rug mat and have mixed feelings about it. While there are a few positive aspects, several significant drawbacks make it difficult to recommend. The mat is quite comfortable to sit and walk on. It has a pleasant texture and provides a decent amount of cushioning. The traditional look and feel of the Tatami mat bring a nice aesthetic to my living space, which I genuinely appreciate. However, after just two months of use, the mat is already showing significant signs of wear and tear. The stitching is of very poor quality and started to come apart almost immediately. The woven threads break easily, making the mat look worn out. Given the price, I expected much better durability and craftsmanship.

I desperately wanted to love this, and at first, I did! It really does keep you cool, especially if you have a kotatsu and you want to keep from overheating while you use it. The tatami is nice to lay on in the summer when the A/C just isn't cutting it, and it's a nice smooth texture to break up the scratchy carpet.But the second something spills on it, it's ruined. No way to clean it. It's also super easy for cats to tear up - we've tried to stop her, but my senior cat has managed to completely rip open one entire edge, and the foam bits are *everywhere*. That can't be good to breathe in, for her or us. Wish it was more durable and cleanable, would've been awesome if so.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to clean…..very unfortunately! I will not recommend this product to anyone. Probably on the top 3 of my worst Amazon Purchases.
