long and drawn out
its a long drawn out story the get to the kidnapping ,goes over breeding the Agha Khan ,Ira bombings and lots of things that seem not quite relevant to the Shergar plot, and the reader pronounces a lot of the names of people and places incorrectly ,

If you like horse racing, you'll love this book!
Great book about one of horse racing's greatest mysteries. Excellently researched and well told in a compelling fashion. Great reading for anyone who enjoys horse racing or mystery stories.

A riviting story.
I had no idea things like this could actually take place. It is so sad it was never solved as the perpetrators should be severely punished. He was a beautiful horse.

A very good horse racing detective story
This is quite an interesting and entertaining book. A lot of research obviously went into it. I am not sure the average person who is not a horse racing fan would enjoy it, but I certainly appreciated the effort the author put into finding out as much new information as possible.
