Great night light that shines down to the ground. Installs like a regular outlet and comes with a baseplate. Quality is good and the light is decently bright. Would recommend to friends and family.

We were so happy with the 8 we bought, we ordered 8 more. They have a nice clean look to them once installed and give out a great light pattern. Very subtle but very useful in our dark house at night. The only negative that wasn't really a factor is that the wires can either be installed on the screw or inserted into a hole in the back of the plug. Many of the plugs I could not push the wire into the hole as it was closed off so had to side wire it onto one of the screws. Took a little longer but it was worth the time. It was nice having the plate covers included and they all went on with no problem. I highly recommend them!

have a typical house with a long hallway. I used to put some nightlights but they made the hallway to bright and didn't look good either. replace three outlets in the hallway with these and it is perfect. at night the floor is lit up a little. Highly recommend foe anyone needing a little light on the floor.

Outlets work great wish light was brighter

Retrofitting old style duplex switches equipped with Snap Power guidelight face plates, I found that purchasing new decorator guidelight receptacle plates was now really expensive. Installing these receptacles with the light built in (that come with complementary face plates) is a great deal. Bought one to try but have subsequently bought numerous 4 packs that come in much cheaper than buying the receptacle and then guidelight face plates individually. They work great - maybe a bit less lighting at night over the guidelight plates, but I've had guests say the latter were too bright. I'm very happy with these units.

These are great. The light is bright but not so bright as to be annoying. Easy to install and they look sleek. The light cannot be changed so cannot speak for the longevity of these plugs. Would buy again

We thought this would be a great idea in our hallway and it 100% does its job. Very happy with the brightness level, very happy with the ease of installation (takes all of 15 minutes).This thing would be a 5 star except, it does require a fair amount of bright light to turn off. Our hallway is kind of dim, but I was hoping it would stay off in some light and only turn on in almost complete darkness. It basically stays on for us all the time because it is in a moderately dim area. Might have to go another route because of that but we shall see.Otherwise if you have a well lit area during the day but just want some light at night this is absolutely great.

Easy to install look ok 2 month so far still working, No screws comes with it and old screws color will not match.

These outlets work fantastically for me. I have only had them installed a couple of weeks, however so far so good. They have replaced receptacles where I had nightlights installed so now both outlets are free to use. the light is not too bright which may be an issue for some people, but when it is very dark, it gives plenty of light to see. I also like the fact that the light points down to the ground and not lighting up the whole room. Currently I have them installed in the hallway by the stairs and in the windowless mud room, so when entering from the garage, you can see what is in the room before opening the door revealing shoes you dont want to trip on.

Having a light in the plug in receptacle is FABULOUS! I thought they were the plat type. They are not. You need to be handy and wiring to re-wire and install this. But once installed they are FABULOUS! I love that I can easily walk around and I have the safety of light to see where i am going. One of the best inventions ever! Love it!

Sturdy construction. Childproof covers in sockets. Can connect wires via push-in or using screw terminals. Terminals have different colour screws to identify hot and neutral connections. Does not show a UL rating. Cannot be used with aluminum wires, solid copper wires only. Bright LED light turns on and off with ambient lighting. Great for hallways, eliminates the need for a nightlight.

I really like the night lite feature of this electrical switch. Just perfect at key locations throughout the house for dark conditions, especially bathrooms. Highly recommended
